Moko and Wata can be told apart by quite a few features:
•They're tattoos are on opposite sides.
•Moko's voice is a bit deeper than Wata's.
•Wata speaks in a more gentle fashion than Moko.
•Wata is left handed while Moko is ambidextrous.

And those are just a few.

It is now canon that Kea has finally finished and filled in all of his tattoos.
(He now has several more than Moana (who has many himself) and is proud of it.)

Itotia is more cruel than she lets on. As having been in the torturing business for so long has affected her greatly and she now has little to no remorse or sympathy for others (save for the select few she is closest to).
Though she usually hides this fact beneath a cheerful and playful exterior you can tell who she favors by the way she treats you.
For example, If she likes you she will dote on you and pulls strings to have things go in your favor and if not she will become very callous towards you with no regard for right or wrong of the situation.

Xoc used to be more emotionally open (at least to family) than she is now.
After the fall of her empire she shut herself down emotionally and now refuses to outwardly display her true feelings for fear of the past repeating itself....

(Though on rare occasion her mask will slip.)

Itzli actually dislikes those little displays of respect he gets from those younger than him, or just from others in general. Don't get him wrong, he hates being disrespected, but he feels as if it somehow distances himself from others. He doesn't want to be treated as if he's someone very wise or an ancient elder ((though considering his age......)), he wants to be treated as equal as anyone else.

Though he's never said this aloud, but it can be told through the wistful, and somewhat exasperated, longing glint in his eyes every time he receives the nod of a head or the occasional (though more rare) bow.

Itotia was married once, a long time ago. She never really speaks of the time though. As her now ex-husband treated her badly and eventually he mysteriously disappeared. Itotia claims to this day she hasn't any knowledge of his whereabouts or what happened to him, though it should be noted she does not grieve for him.
She has never since even considered getting in another relationship.

Mazatl regrets not being there so often with his siblings as they were growing up, and even now, and has had many a sleepless night over it. He is somewhat awkward around them for the sole fact that he thinks he is not the brother he should have been.

Hadwin's blindness was caused just prior to the Native Americas' births. It was the result of an accident and indirectly caused by a hawk that he'd become friends with and was rather fond of.

Xoc is so protective of her siblings (both younger and older) that if she even suspects someone is threatening them she is highly likely to claw them without question.
If she is correct in her assumption, nothing on earth or among the stars can stop her wrath.
If she is wrong then she will merely shrug and tell them to get over it.
Either way she will never apologize for her actions.

As hard as it may be, or seem to be, there are quite a few ways to earn Kea's respect:
• defeat him in a fight (note he will never hold back, you'll be facing curses galore...)
• disrupt, interfere with, or immobilize one of his more potent curses.
• have the gall to threaten him, and be able to back it up, without showing fear or hesitation.
• defeat one of his stronger iwis in a fight (though this is a bit minor).
• otherwise prove that you are worthy of his respect.

Aiyana loves to sing and dance, though she is too shy to do so around others. If caught she will flee and hide in mortification until found.

Nita gained his bear claw by killing one while protecting one of his Chiefs from a bear attack.

Eruera actually served in the Australian navy for a while. He had to file his teeth down daily and was eventually sent home because he was temporarily blinded by tear gas.
