Nita's hair isn't actually a very dark color (as far as black goes). It's more of a dusty charcoal black (appearing to be a very dark grey to his annoyance).

It's also fairly long (as you may have noticed) and he is sometimes mistaken for a girl when viewed from behind. (And whoever the poor soul is to do so usually gets an immediate punch to the face....)

Hadwin did NOT lose his sight to the Spanish. The incident actually occurred several decades before they arrived. He has never told an exact account of what happened. But than again no one has ever really asked straightforward.... (And he is a tricky man, believing "if one wants honest answers, one must ask honest questions")
One has to wonder though what caused all those scratch marks?.......

Hialeah has 31 pets total.

• 7 alligators: one adult, one young, five infants.

Moana has asthma and an unknown heart condition. This is why he doesn't do a lot of physical activity. It's also why he doesn't do a lot of magic, as it drains him considerably.

Not many know of this though. So far only his eldest tribes, Jett, Kea, and New Zealand are known to. Though he isn't shy about telling should the subject arise (that is if you aren't his enemy).

Nita hardly ever throws his tomahawks with his left hand (unless it's an emergency situation). This is due to an old injury that he never had seen about. If viewed through an X-Ray one can see a visible jagged line running through the middle of his left shoulder blade from where it was near broken in two and healed badly. It is still functional but gives him slight pain if he moves or stretches his arm or shoulder a certain way to hard or fast.
