Current Economy and Status: good though he relies heavily on New Zealand; he holds Ex-Nation status
Why He Came to Camp International: it intrigued him and he claims to get away from his 1p for a while though that is not quite so. (Secretly it was also to find out more about his overseas cousins).
Appearance: Kea has the naturally tanned skin tone of his people though his is darker than average. Combine that with his short and shaggy black hair, broad shoulders, athletic physique, and near constant glare and scowl and he can appear to be quite intimidating. He has piercing dark garnet eyes and swirling intricate tattoos all over his body (that he has recently filled in fully), that now outnumber his counterpart's by many.
While he used to wear traditional attire under a long and large decorated blanket made to resemble a cloak nowadays he wears more modern clothing. Replacing his old attire with dark black pants and black hiking boots. He used to wear a large dark grey turtle-neck sweater but now opts not to wear any shirt at all. Instead he has taken to wearing a smaller variant of his old "cloak", it has similar design but only comes down to mid-thigh and has a feather shaped clasp at the front to keep it in place. This smaller "cloak" is, just as the longer one was, highly decorated to show his status among his people. He will take it off occasionally however. When he does two long diagonal scars can be seen stretching from his left shoulder down to just above the bottom of his ribcage on the right.
These "cloaks" are the only colored items he will wear, as he refuses to wear anything else that is not black, white, or grey.
Around his neck is a small black rope attached to a jade crow shaped totem with swirling dragons carved into it, he never takes this off no matter what.
Personality: wary, wily, stubborn, defensive, and quick to anger Kea is an aberrant man with an eccentric background that he never speaks of. He never makes friends and seems to rather push any potential friendships away with snide insults and a potently venomous attitude. Though lately he has appeared to have lessened that attitude and seems to occasionally actually consider a person before emotionally (and sometimes physically) shoving them away.
Not keen on crowds of hardly any size and prone to hiding himself away he is a very reclusive man who hates to have his personal time interrupted without perfectly good reason (in his eyes).
He usually claims everyone around him to be idiotic though if he finds particular interest in someone he will refer to them as "less of an idiot than all the other idiots" which is, for him, somewhat of a compliment.
Kea rarely if ever gives out his respect to anyone with the exception of very few. He gives his trust to even fewer, not even completely trusting the majority of his own iwis.
He has an obvious dislike of his counterpart, Moana, though neither of them really speak of as to why this is so. Though lately they have been getting along better and Kea's attempts on Moana's life have stopped.
Due to an incident long ago Kea developed a straightforward and dimmed view on life. Thinking that no one could be trusted and it was better to have only yourself than fake friends who'd stab you in the back at any opportunity. However, recent events have begun to change that view and he is now beginning to accept the fact that it is possible to have true friends and allies.
Something he once never thought possible but always longed for.
Nation Allies: New Zealand, Australia, Canada, America, United Kingdom, China, Greece
Personal Allies: Select few of his iwis, Ares
Enemies: anyone he considers as such
Notable Neutralities: Chaos, Marsilu, Nitis (to an extent), Moana, and Franciszek.
Skills: carving (stone carving is his best work), whittling (again stone is his best work), and magic (specifically curses). Reconnaissance is one of his better skills if he bothers to put the effort into it.
Other: he makes a hobby out of creating small stone statues for those he is close to or thinks is deserving of them (mostly of animals and nature). Kea used to be a Tohunga mākutu (one who has the ability to cast spells to make people sick or even kill them), in more modern times though he has put less emphasis on his status and branched out to using all kinds of magic (such as potions and charms), though he'll only do so if he has cause.
He has Achromatopsia. Which is complete color blindness (he is unable to see in anything but black, white, and shades of grey; not to be confused with the more common types of colorblindness where one sees some colors as a color they're not such as mixing up reds and yellows or blues and greens). Though he hates talking about it, as well as the limitations it can bring.
He loves to argue merely for the sake of arguing and will do so with just about anything. Though, adamant as he is about this hobby, he will back down and admit defeat if his argument can be thoroughly proven inaccurate.
