A mountainous region centered around 3 mountains; llumbya, Kyrid, and the tallest, Corusc.

llumbya is a dormant volcano, only erupting once a millennium.

Kyrid is a snowy mountain, with large ice crystals that act as beacons at night.

Corusc is the largest, stretching above the clouds for miles. Rituals are held at its peak on occasion. Its name comes from the celestial light shows that occur at night, as the stars above coruscate brilliantly.

Cafiro City

The capital of Cafiro, this is the largest settlement in the region. The city is currently in the transition of power, old senators and representatives from the other settlements leaving office and new ones coming in. As well, after the impeachment of the old President, the Legislature has yet to decide a new leader, though some names are floating around.

Karaba Town

A village resting at the foot of llumbya. It's a popular tourist attraction thanks to the performing arts hall, Studio 475. Imagine a Karaoke Bar, but for everything; Singing, dancing, comedy, instrumentals, etc.

Antifila City

Built beneath the blizzards of Kyrid, Antifila is a city constantly covered in a layer of ice and snow. It's known for the Aerolift to Kyrid, and the large amount of manufacturing/construction jobs and firms.

Granmarg

Known simply by the name of the town's founder, Granmarg rests snugly between Kyrid and llumbya. It's known for the richly coated mines in the surrounding mountains, though the main tunnel in llumbya was sealed long ago by volcanic activity.

Eliref Village

Standing in front of Ilumbya, Eliref is a peaceful settlement where agriculture thrives. The ash that comes from the millennial eruption fertilizes the Eliref farmlands for generations, and in thanks, the villagers hold a festival for the eruption.
Population: ~1000

Cirrus

Situated high up on Corusc, this is the highest civilized point in Cafiro. It's a very hospitable settlement, eager to give shelter to those scaling the mountain and lost on it alike. Due to its seclusion from the rest of the region, it's not part of the government, instead existing as a city-state.

Port Margon

An independent city-state, Port Margon is  a town of fishers, sailors, and mercenaries. Cafiro City agreed to pay them to be a part of the army if a war ever came up, so the mercenaries train every day to hone their skills. As such, they are the best warriors on the island.

Sacred Grounds

A burial site for the dead, in the gap between the 3 mountains. Pokémon have been buried here for as long as there have been Pokémon in Cafiro. The bodies work as fertilizer, making this a lush, beautiful place.

Valley of Life

A path between Corusc and Kyrid. It's a very spiritual place, and covered year round by a mist. It leads to the sacred grounds.

Lookout Point

A secluded spot on Kyrid. The beacons from the ice part the clouds, leaving a view of the stars above this spot. It's a popular spot for couples and honeymoons.

Rocano Resort

Situated on the far side of Corusc, Rocano is a high-class resort that overlooks Shikaka Beach. It's easily the most popular place in Cafiro, with many tourists coming for this spot alone.
