It's happened before, many times over. The ants invade the house as it starts to become cold each winter, and the bathroom, being so small and being mostly white, makes it more apparent than any other room of the house. 

But this time, it's still pretty much summer. And normally when the ants invade the bathroom, they focus on the bathtub. Not this time, though. This time they're climbing up the toilet and somehow crossing from there to the trash can next to it. They're at least not going up onto the seat, but since they're climbing up to just underneath it, it's still very annoying to use the toilet. Especially since before the start climbing, they walk right in front of the toilet, where your feet go. And then there are some ants exploring the rest of the bathroom as well, so you have to be careful where you step if you don't want dead ant all over the bottom of you foot, or of your shoe. Since the bathroom is used as a bridge between two parts of the house, this is very annoying. The bathroom is between my current room and the living room, so I have to constantly go through it. Technically, there are two other ways to get between them, but one is half-blocked by my sister's dresser (because of course she can't possibly keep it in her room), and the other involves going outside, which I'd rather not do without shoes, and I'm really not planning on starting to wear shoes around the house when my feet are so much happier bare.
