I recently took the California High School Equivalency Test. Afterwards, I was pretty sure I had passed, but I was still a bit nervous. Well, I got the results today, and I did pretty well! 

The part I was most worried I wouldn't be able to do (and, indeed, the only section where my results were somewhat close to failing) was the essay. Based on my essay-writing experiences in classes the past few years, I was afraid I wouldn't even be able to decide what to write about. 

But, you know what? The prompt was to write about a successful person, so my mind jumped to my favorite YouTubers, and I wound up writing about PeteZahHutt. 

My essay certainly wasn't perfect, but it was good enough, especially with the high scores I got on the other sections. And now I don't have to go back to school at the end of the summer, which is great. I only made it though the previous semester by virtue of having switched to an online school, and even then I had to get sound-cancelling headphones because the computer the school sent me made too much noise. (Having those headphones just for general use now is a godsend. And I actually gained a printer, too-- the school provided one and then didn't want it back if it had been used, so now I have a printer of my very own! It can't print double-sided without getting somebody to flip the pages over manually and reinsert them, and it certainly can't scan things like my parents' printer can, but if I want things printed, I don't have to bother my mom about it!)
