Excuse me??!!!
"Even Leonardo da Vinci made mistakes when drawing a horse. A is da Vinci's incorrect drawing, B is a line reproduction of the horse, and C and D show the correct image."

The person who wrote this obviously knew nothing about horses.
Horses have this thing called a "gait." Essentially, a style of movement. The four main gaits that everybody (except, clearly, the author of the article I just read) knows, and practically every horse has, are walk, trot, canter, and gallop. These gaits are differentiated by the order the legs move in, as well as sometimes the way in which the legs are raised as they move. (Although, just a quick note, technically a gallop is the same as a canter except at a much higher speed.)
Horses are trained in these gaits by people. So, while a wild horse observed by a caveman would probably follow the natural progression of left hind, left front, right hind, right front, da Vinci was completely correct, because the horses he observed would have been domesticated.
I would have commented this on the article itself, but there was nowhere for me to comment.
But I could not let this huge innacuracy slide. Not only does it mean their data on everything past when horses were domesticated is likely to be way off, it also is an insult to both da Vinci and horses in general, as it seems to claim that da Vinci was not able to observe his subjects properly and that horses are unable to move their legs in any pattern other than left hind, left front, right hind, right front.
So, people of Wattpad, here you go!
