DARN IT

My alarm clock has been an hour behind (or rather about 11 hours off one way or 13 the other) for several months. A few days ago, I came home from school to find it blinking and stuck at some random time; there had been some sort of power outage or something and it was unsure how much time had passed while it had its power cut.

So my alarm clock is now set to the correct time, because I can't stand it blinking. Or, at least, it was.

Today, apparently, is the start of daylight savings time. Yay. Now my alarm clock gets to be one hour behind and not switched in AM/PM.

I really don't know how it got one hour behind before, because it did start out right (except maybe with AM and PM switched, though I'm not sure how that happened either, I was careful when I set it). The logistics are just wrong; if my alarm clock is now an hour off because of the start of daylight savings time, that can't be the reason for it having been off before.

Oh, well. I'm fine with having to translate my alarm clock's time--- I just wish the code would stay constant. Two switches in not even twice as many days is too many, especially when the original one stayed long enough to be firmly rooted in my memory.
