It's pretty, but it's also distracting.

Purple is my favorite color, and I'm all for celebrating Valentine's Day, but this is the wrong thing to do. It's too much, and in a place where people are trying to read. 

If it were just the heart added, and maybe a color change for anything that isn't a chapter of story (such as descriptions of stories and profiles of authors) it would probably be fine. But this. this does. not. work.
