This is the opening to the new fanfiction of mine.

Here's the idea.

Vincent Simmons is a young teenager who moves from Washington to California. He enrolls in Lowell High School and makes new friends. Because of his kind and generous personality, he becomes popular. Then, he meets a boy who is bullied for his sexuality and becomes friends with him, despite people telling him that he shouldn't be nice to gay people. Over time, he begins to develop feelings for the boy and discovers that his friends don't want to help him because they're afraid that they would be called a loser. Vincent swore to himself that he will do whatever it takes to protect the person he loves.
