FITZPHIE ALL THE WAY!! (But no hate to Sokeefe).

I'm not going to get into a long rant about this, but I'm just going to say a few things: Sophie had a crush on Fitz since she met him, and it seems that Fitz returns those feelings. Sophie never said/thought clearly that she liked Keefe. A lot of people say that their relationship is toxic or bad because Fitz has anger issues, but he actually rarely gets extremely angry at Sophie. And each time, he has a good reason. I'm not saying it's okay that he lashed out at her, but he wasn't doing it for no reason. Keefe clearly likes Sophie, but as I said earlier, it is unclear whether she returns those feelings. Keefe does a lot of things for Sophie and to protect her, but I feel that everything he does 'to protect her' end up making things worse. For example, when he joined the Neverseen. He ended up losing Kenric's cache and he didn't get Fintan's either. When he left to the Forbidden Cities at the end of Unlocked, he left a bit suddenly and didn't say goodbye. He left Sophie a letter, which I feel is inadequate. I can only imagine how devastated Sophie will feel at the loss of her friend. Knowing Sophie, she is probably going to blame herself and maybe try to get him back, which will probably put her and everyone else in danger because they will have to go to the Forbidden Cities. I think that Keefe might even seek help from his mom, and that will probably do more harm than good.

So, just a little rant about my thoughts. If anyone wants to talk more about it, I don't mind, but I just want to be very clear on this: just because I ship Fitzphie does not mean I hate Sokeefe or the people who ship it. I just don't ship it.

Kind of. I don't think it is the best book ever, but I do think it is pretty good. I kinda go through these phases where I'm super obsessed with it and then I don't care. At the moment, I am super obsessed :)
