In defense of Wanda Maximoff

I love how this girl explained it. Yeah, Wanda has done messed up stuff. But so has literally every Marvel character. Like, Natasha was an assassin for crying out loud! But because we were introduced to her after she joined Shield, we were presented to her in a heroic light. I wonder if people would view her differently if we actually saw the things she did?
And then there is another fan favorite, Loki. I love Loki, but it seems like he doesn't get as much complaining about the bad stuff he did as much as Wanda does.
And yeah, there are some stuff Wanda is at fault for. And there are some stuff that were purely accidental. But you have to remember, at the end of the day, she is just a young girl, who lost her parents in a traumatic way, spent years in anger and seeking revenge by going to Hydra because of it, lost her brother, dealing with the guilt of events she caused, and loosing her love multiple times, once by her own hand. You also have to remember , she doesn't truly understand her own powers, or how to control them in a disciplined way. (You really think Hydra was teaching her spells?) that's what I think we will go more into in Doctor Strange 2.
Now that I think about it, Wanda is kinda like Elsa.
Anyways, all this to say, I know it is easy to judge Wanda when you first meet her in Age of Ultron. But please. Keep an open mind. Give her a chance.
I never hated her, but I never really cared for her, until Wandavision. The amazing writing in that show really showed her trauma, and now I love her as a character. So yeah. Give Wanda a chance. She doesn't have to be your favorite. But try to understand her.
