Alter stands up and stretches, groaning slightly. "Finally. Where have ya been?"

"S-sorry.. I've been.. Uh, b-busy..." Doki's sitting on the couch in a hoodie with the hood pulled over her face.

"Too busy to visit your brother?" He mumbles quietly.

"I couldnt, okay?" She says a bit louder, before shrinking into the couch.

Alter raises an eyebrow and walk over, sitting down by her. "Somethings wrong." She shakes her head in response and pulls the good further over her head. He scoots close to her and quickly yanks her hood down. There are tears streaking down her cheeks and she quickly hides in her hands. Alter sighs. "Doki. We made a mutual promise." Doki trembles slightly. "Dokiii." He growls. She finally uncovers her face and looks at him. "What's wrong?"

"I-i don't kn-know-" Doki tries to hold in her tears. "I'm j-just f-feeling so d-d-depressed-" She's breaking down.

Alter quickly pulls her into a hug. "That's okay, that's okay." His voice was soft and comforting. "Sometimes you just dont." He starts petting her head and she cries into his chest.

After a few minutes, she seems relatively calm now. ".... Thank you, Alter..."

He smiles softly. "What are brothers for?"

"Being annoying."

"Okay, well now there's two things." He chuckles and continues to hold her. She smiles and slowly starts to fall asleep.
