Kids these days are made of steel.
We're sturdy and neat but add enough pressure, and we'll crumble at your feet.

The adults watch us crumble, the expect us to rise from the ashes and brush off the dust.
They expect us to care for the environment but we didn't wreck it, no, that was you.
"Take care of yourself."
Some say with a grin.
But we know they're lying, words stuck behind their smiling chin.
But as soon as you ask for a break they'll tell you that you're being foolish and there's nothing they can do.
And once they've pushed us to the very brink, made us feel stupid, made us feel sick.
They'll gather around all dressed in black and they'll pray and pray for their child to come back.
They'll blame the school system, the internet of course.
They will never realize the answer is much worse.
They focus so much creating something to brag about, that they don't realize their prized possession is nearing the end.
