Choir on Monday

Dr: I call you guys "children" not to belittle you all in any way, but just cuz I kinda do. I mean, I'll call an 80 year old a "child", and I have. I said to my friend once, I was like "Did you see that child?" And they went, "Uh...they're like, 86.".
Me: *raises hand*
Dr: Yes?
Me: I use "little", "smol", and "wee" ironically all the time!
Dr: How is it "ironically"?
Me: Well, out of all of my friends, I'm the shortest one, and yet, if one of my friends is all dressed up, I'll look at them and go "Aww! Look at the wee little bab!!" And then there's my friend Cha who's towering me at 6'6" going "...'Scuse me?" And I'm like "Yeah I just called you "wee" and "little". What're ya gonna do, scrub? Fight me? Donthurtme." *kinda cowers*
Dr: Oh boy!
Me: I always get the "look down and/or past the shoulder" look! It's funny!
