Last year
Me: *walks into Algebra 2 wearing black and blue dress and black tights*
Mrs: Oh Sister Ruthie, you look lovely today!
Me: Thank you! You look amazing!
Mrs: Thank you!
Everyone: *fine*

This Year
Me: *walks into Geometry wearing same dress and same tights*
Mr. T: *hands me a paper* Good morning Ruthie. You look very nice today!
Me: Thank you Mr. T. You look rather sharp today!
Mr. T: *smiling* Why thank you! **
Everyone: *whispers* I know right? She's such a teacher's "pet"!/ ...Teacher's "pet"./ ...Teacher's "pet"!

So two things:

1. Am I the first one to compliment him this year? Cuz his smile looked as if he hadn't gotten a compliment yet.

2. CAN I FUCKING BE NICE TO A TEACHER WITHOUT HEARING "TEACHER'S "PET"?! LOOK, IM SORRY I CAN DO MATH MORE EASILY THAN OTHERS CAN!! BUT CAN THEY PLEASE STOP POINTING THEIR FUCKING FINGERS!! ITS NOT HORRIBLE BEING THE TEACHER'S PET, BUT IM NOT HIS "PET"!! IM JUST ONE OF THE 5 FUCKING SAFETY PEOPLE IN HIS 2ND PERIOD THAT HE CAN LOOK AT OUT OF 30 KIDS AND HE CAN LOOK AT US, TAKE A DEEP BREATH, AND THINK "THEY ARENT TRYING TO PUSH MY DAMN BUTTONS."
