So my choir did this thing (dunno why tho) where they gave us slips of papers to fill out our names, our schools, and our favorite teachers (whether that'd be a chorus teacher, music teacher, or just our favorite teacher), and then Con's Mom was gonna send emails to the teachers inviting them to our concert with 2 free tickets attached.

I chose Mr. T.

Anyhoos, today, during Geometry, since there was that Drivers Safety thing, there was 8 of us (5 Sophomores, 2 Seniors, And lil ol' me), and he had us work on State Testing Prep.

Everyone was like "Really?!" "Are you kidding me?!" "C'mon Mr. T!! Can't we have one day where we have a break?!" And he replied with "No because if I let you guys do that, you all won't be productive tomorrow, will you?" And everyone was sitting there, mumbling "No..." while he was passing out Prep books.

While everyone was bitching and complaining about the Prep, and he was passing the books out, he was standing right in front of me when I mumbled "I gave you two free tickets to my concert. Th' f'ck?"

TIME SKIP TO THE END OF CLASS

I was getting ready to walk out the door when Mr. T went "Hey Ruthie. C'mere." And I scuttled over to his desk, and he had this kind of...puzzled...also kind of...quizzing look to him. I said "Yes?" And he turned his laptop so it was facing me, and his email was open, and he pointed to it and went "...Care to explain?"

I instantly panicked, thinking I did something wrong, but then I looked at the email and the sender said "From: *Con's Mom*" And I looked at him and said "Before I read that email, does it mention "Free tickets to a concert"?" And he went "Yes. Why?"

And so I explained what was going on and he went from looking confused and annoyed to genuinely happy and touched. He gave me a big hug and said "Thank you RuthAnn. I'll gladly come to your choir concert! I may come on my own, though, or I may give the other ticket to one of my roommates, and we'll come. Or, if weather permits, and I hope to GOD it'll be nice enough for this to happen, maybe my boyfriend can come down and we can come see it together!" (Okay, right there was when he got really, really frickin excited to come, and I just started giggling at how excited he was)
