Mom, Me and Ste: *at Ste's house, running over what the makeup plan and plan for Prom are gonna be*
Ste: So what places would you like to eat at?
Mom: *snick* They can always go to Wendy's.
Ste: Or CiCi's.
Me: Or we can go to Taco Bell.
Ste: *laughs*
Me: "Live Más".
Mom: But seriously, we gotta think nice and somewhat costly.
Me: Panera Bread. Nice decor and hELLA EXPENSIVE!!
Mom and Ste: *laughs*
Mom: I mean, she's not wrong!
Ste: That was pretty good.
Everyone: ....
Mom: I mean, they can always go to Perkins. Cuz nothin says "Prom" like Perkins!!
Me: *laughs* There's no way in HELL I'd go to Perkins!!
Ste: Yeah, seriously.

Today
Me: Hey Ale, d'ya think you'd wanna grab a bite to eat before Prom? Or would you wanna just have like, small appetizers at my house while we do photos?
Ale: I mean, we can do either. If we go out, we can see if there're some friends we can go with, but if not, we can do the apps.
Lunch
Ale: Hey Dev.
Dev: *turns around*
Ale: Do you and Sam have dinner plans yet?
Sam: Shit! I knew I forgot something!
Ale: Take that as a "no" then.
Dev: Why?
Ale: Well Ruthie and I are going to Prom and that's really the only thing we have left to plan.
Dev: Oh.
Sam: D'ya wanna do somethin on B Road together?
Ale and Me: Sure.
Dev: *looks at Sam* Perkins?
Sam: *nods and looks at Ale* About 6?
Ale: *looks at me* Sound good?
Me: Sounds great!
Ale: Alrighty then!
Me: *mentally* 'I'm going to the one place I openly mocked for dinner! Outstanding!'
