Me: *doing HomeSchool work*
Stepdad: *in kitchen* So you know how you made those cookies on Thursday?
Me: ...Yeah?
Stepdad: And you made them for Ale and his friends?
Me: Yeeaah?
Stepdad: And you came home with an empty container?
Me: ...Uh-huh?
Stepdad: Lemme just say-
Stepdad: *pops in my classroom*
Stepdad: That was some smart thinkin: makin those cookies!
Me: *arches an eyebrow*
Stepdad: Y'know the saying: "The easiest way to a man's heart is through his stomach"?
Me: *nods*
Stepdad: Well your cookies must've been so good, they easily went from stomach to his heart!
Stepdad: *walks out*
Me: ....aHAHA!!!
Stepdad: *pops back in* The hell was that?!
Me: I just kinda found it funny. Like, my intention was to just make a batch of cookies for the guys. I didn't like, plan "Make cookies on Friday, then tell him Sunday". I was just like "Shit, this cookie mix expires in 2 weeks. Welp, gotta use 'em up.".
