Teacher: "So "tear"- *tears paper* gets turned to "tore" in the past tense, which gets turned to "torn" in the past perfect tense."
Me: *taking notes*
Teacher: "I probably shouldn't've...done...that. There were...important notes on...that...paper..."
Me: *bursts into laughter* ME AS EFF!!!!
