Last Night
Me: Hey ma!
Mom: Yeah??
Me: So I've been thinking about this, maybe for too long and too hard, knowing me-
Mom: O-kaaay...?
Me: But y'know how we always get Kay the second week of June and have her until the Fourth of July?
Mom: Yeah?
Me: And y'member how Bee asked me if sometime over the summer he, his mom, Guy, and I could take a day trip together?
Mom: Vaguely.
Me: Well, were getting Kay this year, right?
Mom: Yeah, while you're asleep that Saturday after you come back from tour, I'm going and getting her.
Me: Well, after the Fourth of July, when we take her back, can we do something like stay at Gram's overnight, and drive from Gram's to *home*, so it's a 3 hour car ride, not a 7 and a half hour car ride?
Mom: Maybe, we'll see.
Me: Kay-
Mom: That's not a bad idea though. Good thinkin.
Me: ^_^
Me: *internally screaming*
