Science class turned into Debate Club!

We talked about whether or not tennis was better than badminton. Then someone said marching band wasn't a sport (it is one!!¡! Fite meh m8). Then someone said choir wasn't a sport (which I say depends on what the conductor does.). Then I pitched in and said "How bout NASCAR?" and got bombarded with "Oh hell no!!" (itS A FUKCIN SPORT DAMMIT!!) Then a guy barged in with a, "Oh, by the way, just going on the record of saying that dance and cheer aren't sports either." 

bOI YOU GOT ME RILED UP WITH NASCAR AND MARCHING BAND! DONT YOU DARE SAY THAT DANCING AND CHEERLEADING AREN'T SPORTS!!!

Yeeaah, lotta people were triggered today, and I stupidly got into a fight with the Capitan of the actual Debate Club of whether or not dance and cheerleading were a sport, and he kept firing back with his background of MMA. Then we got into whether or not band and choir were sports, to which he said, "Look, I respect the school's marching band, and I'm in choir myself, but they are not sports!! In actual sports, you go places, and you do things. In Marching Band, you stand on the football field and toot your little trumpet for your home-team and choir kids just sing in their school's auditorium. Not. Sports."

Right before the bell rang, I looked him dead in the eye and said, "Okay, do me a favor D; join *choir I'm in*. Then you can get 12 songs that you have to memorize in 3 weeks for a 2-week tour, tour for those said two weeks in *state North of us*, *state West of us*, *state South of us*, and *some cities in our state*, and sing for the Governor of *state*. Then, afterwards, call me and try to tell me that choirs don't tour. Because the choirs that you're thinking of are the school choirs that perform 3-4 songs with the middle schoolers, 3-4 songs with the high schoolers, 3-4 songs with the Men's Ensemble, and then they do one huge song at the end with everyone so the parents of the kids at the beginning are still happy because their kid is still in the show. Yeah, those choirs don't do much."
