Endless Songs Of The SOUL
Prompt from @Firehedgehog
Check them out.
Reaper found a SOULmate in Geno, hearing this beautiful melody of his.
But one day he disappeared, not leaving a trace. The only indicator was the weak magic particles in the air.
Most people gave the search after him up, not finding anything that would have shown, that he's still alive.
But Reaper still heard his entrancing melody, so he never gave up. But as the balancekeeper of death he was always busy.
In a white space called ANTIVOID, a lost SOUL went for the first time with his new forced FATE.
Error had a hard time destroying,
Ink, the Creator, he always managed to come on time to stop him and his paints are a pain to dodge.
But he has no choice, he needs to keep the balance. Ink would create to many AUs and would crowd the MULTIVERSE, until they collide and destroy everything.
Every now then he would stop his tracks to listen to something else than the voices. Sometimes something could overpower them. A sad and calming melody, he doesn't know why he heard this, but he would always be cheering the calming effect and familiarity of it.
Error was knitting at the cliff of Outertale, while stargazing.
Suddenly a sharp pain grew in his skull, making it impossible to think straight. The pain's center was one of his eyesockets.
Overwhelmed, he created a random portal. Leaping through it, he ended in a black void.
After his portal closed the pain became less.
The destroyer looked at the surrounding, it emitted a sense of familiarity.
His eyes widened as a single word leaded to a crash.
"SAVESCREEN"
Reaper was in a bad mood, it's been a century since Geno's disappearance. His melody was getting more and more distorted, the more time passed. It was like his love lost himself more and more. Reaper hates it, he wants to help Geno so bad! But he can't, not if he's always distracted by his job.
Suddenly he felt the need to go to the SAVESCREEN.
Why did his SOUL pump this hectic?
A portal fizzled to his right, he did not expect the sight Infront of him.
Error, the destroyer of worlds, was on the ground glitching and trembling.
He had tears running down his face, the face that would usually be so emotionless.
Reaper was at a loss of words, normally he should have called Ink, if he sees the destroyer, but now?
His SOUL seemed to disagree. It left him motionless, telling him that he needs to wait, something will happen. Something long awaited.
So Reaper waited until Error finished his REBOOT.

Error's whole form was glitching even more. Turning black bones to white ones. Old wounds reopened and red liquid was running down.
Reaper couldn't believe his eyes.
Error turned into the person he searched for so long.
Was he dreaming or was this all Error's plan?
But his doubts vanished as he listened to the melody closely.
It has regained a lot of the smoothness, sounding less glitchy.
Exactly like Error's body or should he say Geno's?
While Reaper was left with his thoughts, Error's mind was a mess.
So many overwhelming memories and feelings were played in full speed.
It gave him a headache.
Then his body fizzled painfully. Like his entire body was getting rearranged.
In the end he just blacked out.
He couldn't handle it.
Reaper was ripped out of his thoughts, as Geno just collapsed on the ground.
His eyesockets widened and he rushed to the bloody skeleton.
He kneed next to him, his hand were moving over Geno in a frantic way.
Reaper didn't know what to do, he still was shocked at the fact that this was his long lost mate. So without thinking further, he just gently pulled Geno on his lap and leaned his head on his chest, were he could hug him loosely.
With nothing else to do, he waited again, this time comforted by his SOULmate in his arms.
Error, no Geno woke up.
He was startled at first, not expecting cold arms around him.
But he relaxed after seeing the face of his mate.
He could finally remember.
He buried his head into Reaper's shoulder, making the other flinch.
His eyes flew down to the other.
Hoping everything was fine.
He was surprised to find a glowing blush on Geno's cheeks.
Reaper's eyes watered as he heard the first words in a long time from Geno.
"I love you"
They were just a whisper, but loud enough for him to hear.
Death's embrace thightened.
He covered the other in light, but affectionate kisses, mumbling the same words as Genocide Sans, over and over again.
