Once upon a time, there were four kids wandering in the forest. Annalise was the oldest as she is 15. Joe was only a year younger meaning he is 14. Austin is 13 and Ayame is 12, almost 13.

Annalise and Austin are siblings but their parents left them a week ago because they didn't have enough money to care for them. Ayame and Joe, on the other hand, had been orphaned since they were 1. They have known each other for their whole life and have always been best friends. The four kids have been all friends for more than half of their lives.

One-day Joe and Ayame were eating porridge in the kitchen when they started messing around. Ayame accidentally knocked the bowl out of Joe's hand and it fell to the floor and shattered everywhere. The headmaster came into the room and asked what happened in a very unhappy and angry tone.

Ayame and Joe stared at each other than at the headmaster. The headmaster started yelling at them because of the mess. Joe tried to tell the headmaster that it was all his fault, but she already knew that it was Ayame's fault like always. Ayame got scared and ran out of the building and Joe followed behind her. The headmaster started running after them and every once in a while, was hot on their trail unless they turned a corner. 

Suddenly they saw a hut and ran inside causing the headmaster to run right past the building. 

Austin and Annalise heard a thud in the front of their house, ran out to see what the commotion was. When they saw Joe and Ayame they were confused. Austin asked, "Who are you and what are you doing here?" Ayame turned around and jumped when she saw Austin and Annalise behind them. Joe turned suddenly at the noise and watched them to see if they would do anything. Ayame replied to Austin in a shaky voice. "S-sorry sir, b-but w-we were just t-trying to e-escape o-our head m-master..." Austin relaxed. Annalise said, "Can we help you guys?" 

Joe suddenly cut in, "How could you guys help us!?" "We could... let you guys live with us." She replied. "Really!!! Thank you so much!!!" Ayame jumped on Annalise and gave her a huge hug. Then suddenly, some knights from the kingdom came and said that the house was being seized. All four of the kids had to leave the house causing them to be where they were now in the forest.

"H-hey! What's that!" Ayame said while pointing to something in the distance. Annalise's eyes widened, "I-it's a castle!" "Hopefully they'll take care of us...." Joe muttered.     

So, the 4 kids went to the castle and knocked on the gate. The Queen came out confused as to why there was someone at the gate. When she saw Ayame she immediately fell in love with her and adopted all 4 of the kids!!!! And they all lived happily ever after.
