I woke up to an unknown pain and a deep scar on my neck at an unfamiliar place . I panicked as it was an isolated area.
All I could remember is when I was returning from work, my cab driver suddenly stopped the car midway. Then two unknown persons came. One guy sprayed something . Then everything went dark.

Seeing the time, I rushed home immediately as my parents will be worried for me.
As expected, they are.

"my daughter is all we have. Please find her soon. It's already been a week. If there's anything you can do, we'd appreciate it." My mother told the police officer.

I don't understand. Here my mother and father are standing here in the middle of the TG street, asking a police officer to help them find me when I am right here! Standing next to the cop!

"We will do what we can Ma'am'" He said.

" Mom! Dad! I'm right here! Don't worry! Mom! "I called and called. But my mom and dad just thanked the officer for his time, and walked away.

Naturally, I chased after them. I ran right past them, stopping and turning to face them about a few yards ahead.

"Do you think they'll find her?" my mother asked Dad in a hushed whisper."I don't know, dear. I don't know." My dad replied as he shook his head in what seemed to be disbelief. I watched in horror, as a tear streaked down my mother's face. And they walked right past me.

A few months passed.
I watched my mother and father grow older with each day that I didn't come home. Even though I was there, with them the whole time. Then, one day my mother and father received a call from the cops. They had found me. I don't know how that was even possible, but I followed my mother and father down to the hospital. As we neared the mortuary, I saw people, mainly police officers, were gathered around something in a large circle. I followed my parents as they pushed their way through the crowd. I almost fainted. What I saw made no sense.
I stood there,next to my father. Yet there I also, laying on the stretcher. Then, it dawned on me. I died a long ago. To be precise, that horrible night. That's my body and that girl is me. I am a ghost. I am dead.

My cab driver along with those two guys brutally raped me and then dumped me .
What wrong did I even do to them? I was just doing my work and returning home to my parents.
," sorry sir.,we caught her cab driver yesterday and he confessed to his crime. Everyday your daughter used to come home at that time in the same cab alone. Her company didn't do background check on him. He is a small time criminal. He took her to a slum and there, they raped her. After that they killed her and throw her in a dump yard. His two accomplices are missing. We will find them soon. We will make sure your daughter gets justice." inspector said to my dad. My dad trying his hard to not cry aloud.
My mom cried and cried. I can't see her like that. She was devastated and fainted.
Ward boys came and took my mom to the emergency ward. Dad followed them.
I am died.
I am sorry for causing this pain to both of you .
But it was not my mistake.
My life ended before it started. Who will take care of my parents now in their old age?
What was my fault in this?

I wrote this , based on a true incident. Yes, it happened to a girl who worked at a BPO. This kind of news disturbs me a lot.
I so hate those animals and they should be forever locked up in jail.
They don't deserve to live among us, humans.
