No Eyed Girl

This is based off the song No-Eyed Girl by Lemon Demon, so check it out. Also, the main character Neil is not my own, he belongs to (or rather IS) Neil Cicierega (Lemon Demon).

Also! In the story, you will notice that sometimes when a character speaks, there is a (parentheses, number, parentheses) next to their speech. That means they are speaking a different language (a made up one) and at the end of the story there is a key type thing that will tell you what they were saying, but it would be best to not read that first time through or it will spoil the whole thing.

I'm just now realizing how much I butchered the song.

"Due to my strong personal convictions, I wish to stress, that this record, in no way indorses, a belief in the occult." --Michael Jackson

I fumbled around with the vile in my large space suit gloves. I needed to get these samples back to the International Space Station soon and I couldn't have them spilling out into the void that is the universe.

"You got it, brother?" I heard Charlie ask through the speaker in my spacesuit.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I grunted, finally twisting the cap on one of the vile. I tried to not to trip on any moon rocks as I slowly but surely walked/floated over to the ship. Just then, a strange object caught the corner my eye. I whipped my head around to see it; that was not any space debris that I ever saw. It was a small silver capsule with two engines on either side. There was dark tinted glass, and I could hardly see who... or rather what was inside.

I stopped in my tracks and turned around so I could get a proper look at this thing. I leaned my head to the side and got a glimpse of the creature inside. It had a grayish blue skin with bright red fangs and large red earrings. It had a short stubby nose and long pointed ears, but no eyes. Just then it looked over at me with its empty eye sockets. It was strangely... beautiful. I stood there, my face getting hot, as I looked back at the alien. I awkwardly brought my hand up my head and waved. The creature in the space shuttle tilted its head to the side like a confused hound dog, then it raised its hand (with one too many fingers) and waved back.

I'm talking to an alien! Baby Neil would've loved every little thing about this.

I suddenly got an idea and dragged my boot across the almost sandy surface of the moon spelling out 'I AM NEIL' on it. I stood back, admiring the letters, then looked back over to the area where the spaceship was but... it was gone?

My once proud expression turned into one of surprise as I looked around in every direction, but it was gone. How could it leave? I could've been the first person in the entire universe to communicate and prove the existence of aliens and it left.

"You have to get going! You don't have infinite oxygen"

I laid strapped down on my bed that night wondering. I wondered what the aliens where doing. Is it a whole colony or just one? Where do they live and how? What kind of language do they speak? Did they like my message or just not care? Are they as interested in humans as we are of them?

I pulled myself from my internal rant and rubbed the bridge of my nose and closed my eyes. I had another important day tomorrow and I needed sleep. Actually sleep, not the 'yeah I totally slept' sleep.

I turned on my side and gazed out the window and looked down at the Earth. Me, Charlie and a couple others would be heading back to Earth in a matter of days. Less than a week from now, I would be back down on Earth, doing regular human things, but before that day comes, there was still more work to be done. Maybe even more than usual.

I rolled over to the other side of the bed and forcefully closed my eyes. I need sleep.

/-/

There was a loud humming noise seeming to come from the air around me. I groaned and pulled the blanket over my head. Wait, since when could I do that? On the ISS, we're strapped down so I couldn't float away while I slept. I cautiously opened eyes and was greeted by bright white sterile walls. I stumbled out of the 'bed' which was just a metal table with my blanket thrown over it. I started to search around the small empty room, looking for my silver glasses.

"HELLO?" I called out, hoping some captor would hear me. "WHERE AM I?" Nothing. I paced around the room for a bit, already daydreaming ways to escape. There were no windows or doors (except the thick steel one holding me in) and there were no vents or obvious escape pods. How could I even be sure I'm still in space? I'm not floating anywhere so there is gravity. What if I was captured by some secret government? Or maybe...

Suddenly, the door opened wide and two figures walked in, but they were definitely not human, one looked very familiar: greyish-blue skin, red fangs, no eyes and teal scales running from their middle section and down to their feet. The second creature seem a little more masculine. He had a more grey-green skin tone with no fangs or eyes. This one also had dark blue scales and more muscle structure, which, in comparison, made the first creature look much more feminine.

"Um... hi?" I asked, not quite knowing what to say. The man looked very confused until the woman told him something (1). These creatures must have a different language than any of the ones on Earth. The man nodded in understanding then started to walk around me, using a small metal stick to poke m in various places, He came full circle and stopped in his tracks and 'looked' me in the eye. It was one of the creepiest things I've ever experienced. He pushed the metal stick towards my eye. "Woah!" I jumped back, not wanting to get my eye poked out by an alien today.

"We don't poke eyes." I said to them, desperately hoping they could understand a little English. They both wore blank expressions, so I tried to explain. "No" I shook my head no, "poke" I moved my finger in a poking motion, "eye" I pointed to my eye. "No poke eye." The man took a step back to and said something to the girl (2). The girl responded with a chuckle and a nod. The guy said something else (3), with a goofy grin on his face, which made the girl laugh harder. My face went red; I had a suspension that they were laughing at me. The man said one last thing to the girl (4) and she followed him out of the room.

The thick door slammed in my face and once again I was alone. I started pacing again as my imagination ran wild. What are they going to do to me? Will they kill or torture me or do they hardly know what I am? These aliens probably know as little about humans as we do of them. This can be a mutual learning experience. I can teach them about life on Earth, and I can learn about them and their culture. I sat down on the bed and ran a hand through my hair just as the door opened again and the girl stepped in.

She held up a hand by her head and awkwardly waved to me. I chuckled slightly and waved back. She remembered me! She waved her hand again but this time it looked like she wanted me to follow her. I did the only thing I could and followed her. She led me over to another room that looked a little like a storage room of sorts. She opened up one of the steel boxes and handed it to me.

"My glasses!" I celebrated, pulling them out of the box and placing them on my face. There was also some other, more random, things in it. A notepad that I had by my bed every night but never used, my good pen and a small tube of something that looked like a lotion. She clearly didn't know what was important and what wasn't. It was extremely cute.

I looked up to see her utterly captivated by my glasses. She cautiously reached out her hand and touched the bridge of the glasses and flinched when they moved. She poked the lens and looked even more confused. I tried not to laugh too hard as she began to pull them off my face then gently placed them on hers.

"They look great on you!" I complimented, even though they were much too big for her. She started to giggle a bit, so the glasses started to slide down her nose, but she pushed them back up at the very last second; then took them off and stood on her toes to place them back on my face. I pulled all of my stuff out of the box and shoved them in my pockets. The alien took the box out of my hands and placed it into one of the many cubby holes.

She waved for me to follow her, so I continued to walk with her around the entire base. I got a small glance out of a window and noticed that we were still in space, not on any planet, but I didn't get enough time to look for any planets, so I'm too sure where I am.

In the whole base, there were maybe two windows and about 100 aliens, the one I was following around told me something (in her language so I still don't know what she was saying) and went into a room that looked a little like a laboratory, so I didn't follow her inside (She also shut the door in my face so I couldn't follow her). I ended up walking around for a bit until I stumbled upon a room that looked like a café; I sat down on a chair and wrote down everything I could remember, so if the day came where I could go back home, I could prove the existence of aliens. If I make it through tonight, everybody has to hear me out. (**Laughs in Touch Tone Telephone**)

I did some people watching (or rather alien watching) while walking around the ship so I could get familiar with the layout; who knows how long I'll be here? I began to notice more about the alien's society to. The sex of any alien could be found by the color of scales and height. Men were taller with generally darker scales and the ladies were shorter with lighter scales. Females were also the only one to have fangs, mostly ranging from a dark red to a reddish orange.

I ended up wandering over to a room that looked a lot like an American classroom. There were large tables with miniature aliens in them, looking at an older alien point at pictures being projected onto a wall. I couldn't understand anything the teacher was saying, but I watched anyway. She was flipping through pictures of other aliens that looked like they were of the same species. I leaned onto the door frame and pulled out my notepad as a picture of... Adam and Eve showed up? What are they doing here? The teacher started to talk again (5) while pointing to various things in the picture. Then new pictures started to cycle through. Adolf Hitler, Jack the Ripper and one of the leaders of ISIS, what are they trying to get at?

Then a new picture was show, this wasn't a person or any alien. It was a large, dangerous looking machine. There were about five or so tubes that fed into a large cylinder with some liquid in the bottom. There was some lettering beside it that looked a little like a messed-up version of Russian or Greek. The teacher pointed to one of the students. The child stood up and said something (6) that sounded like 'stedeoxzede.'

"Ste-de-ox-ede. Stedeoxzede. Stedeoxzede." I drilled the word in my brain along with the picture, hoping I would remember it later when I was back on Earth. I felt a tap on my shoulder, and I whipped around to see the girl from before yelling in my face (7). "What? I'm sorry? Huh!" I suddenly got really nervous. The alien suddenly stopped yelling and her face softened, putting on a bright smile. She beckoned for me to follow her, so again, I did.

She led me to a secluded hallway then suddenly stopped and turned around.

"Ananotia." She said, waving her hand like she was saying hello. I stood across from her, not really knowing what to. She waved her hand like she wanted me to say something.

"Ananotia?" I asked, waving back. What is going on?

"Re ya Aheli." She said slowly, pointing to herself as I stood there, utterly confused. "Re ya" She pointed to herself again. "Aheli." She pointed to me and I could feel my face going bright red. "Ro ete..." She trailed off, like she wanted me to finish her sentence. But I don't know your language! I internally yelled. WAIT! That's what we're doing! I'm such a derp. "Re ya Aheli." She said once more. "Ro ete," She pointed to me. I guess I'm introducing myself.

"Neil." I spoke. "Ro ete Neil." She shook her head and started talking again.

"Re ya Aheli." She pointed to herself. "Ro ete Neil." Yeah, that's what I said. Ro ete. She sighed quietly and kept talking, "Re ya," She pointed to herself, "Ro ete." She pointed to me. So... I am, you are? That makes some sense, I guess.

"Re ya Neil. Ro ete Aheli." I think I said her name right because right as I finished, she smiled and nodded.

"Ananotia Neil." She waved hello again.

"Ananotia Aheli!" I chirped, a big goofy grin on my face.

"Welkza." She replied. What does that mean? Aheli turned and began to walk away.

"Wait! Don't go!" I called after her. Just then she turned around and walked back.

"Ananotia! Re ya Aheli, Ro ete?" So, are we having a conversation or something?

"Ro- no, uh, Re ya Neil?" Did I say that right? She nodded and smiled.

"Welkza."

"Welkza." I waved again and this time I turned and walked but Aheli began to follow me. "I said--"

"Zes." She interrupted, pushing her way in front of me; thoroughly confused, again, I followed her. As we walked, I took out my notepad and wrote down all the words I know and a couple I'm spectating about. Like Zes for come and Stedeoxzede for some machine thing. Aheli eventually led me into a room and stopped in front of me then tapped my shoulder impatiently.

"Huh? Whoa--" I looked up at the huge machine in front of me. It was just like the one in the picture; with tubes and multi colored liquids flowing together into one big tank. It bubbled angrily and hummed menacingly. I strolled up to it and grazed my hand across the cold metal. "Did you... build this?" I looked over to Aheli, as she nodded proudly and pulled a test tube out of a small cabinet. She held to out to me, and I gently took it. "What do you--" She cut me off and yanked the test tube back, then held it out to me again. I stared confusingly at her. She finally got the idea and made a spitting motion at the tube.

"You want me to spit in this?" She nodded and held it out eagerly. Wait, since when did she know English? "You know English?!" I lunged towards her; I was starting to get some sketchy vibes from this place. She fell down and pulled her arms above her head to protect herself. After a second, she peeked out from behind her arms to look up at me. "I guess not." She turned around and grabbed onto a tube and pulled herself up. "Sorry about that." I looked down at my feet, my face turning red. As I looked up again, I saw Aheli reaching for the test tube again.

"No thanks." I said quietly; this whole situation was getting a little fishy, and I don't know if I want to contribute to that. Her face fell and she pushed the tube right in my face. "No, I'm good." I said louder as I stepped back. She continued to step towards me and shoving the glass container in my face. "I'm going to go!" I sprinted out of the room and darted down the hall, pushing past the aliens that were in my way. I turned down many different corridors then I looked behind me for half a second and saw Aheli gaining on me.

"OOF!" My head slammed into one of the pristine white walls. (When I was re-reading this, I thought it said prismarine walls.) I stumbled up to my feet and frantically looked from somewhere to hide. There! I dizzily speed walked into a small room and pressed a couple buttons until I found the one that closed the door.

I sighed and fell into one of the chairs and breathed heavily, as my eyes roamed around the room. I spun around in the chair and turned to face the large window. There was a big panel in front of it with multiple dials, switches and small blinking lights. I stood up and scanned the space outside. There were plenty of faraway stars and planets, but I didn't recognize any of them. Just then, there was a switch and a breeze of cool air. I whipped around to see Aheli, standing in the doorway, visibly steaming with anger.

"Oh--uh, hi? I'm just going to--." I tried to walk past her but she advanced much faster and pinned me against the control panel. Her hand snaked around and pressed a button and the door sounded again, but this time it was closing. "W-Why'd you c-close the door?" I asked, sweating nervously. A sly smile appeared on her face, highlighting her sinister red fangs. She lunged her face forwards and pressed her lips on mine. I tilted my head to the side and relaxed my muscles. (*shudders* Oh that's so grossss! Ahhhhhh. I feel like a first grader. Grossed out by a kiss. -whining- But it's an alien!) I stood up straighter and embraced the moment, pushing her onto an opposite wall. (Me realizing that I'm taking this way too far.) Aheli began to squirm from her position between me and the wall. I pulled away and caught my breath as I brought a hand up and touched my lips.

Why were they... burnt? I looked around and noticed little particles silver particles, floating around us. I looked back at Aheli, just as she shoved me to the ground and pried open the steel door just wide enough for her to squeeze through.

"Wait!" I jumped up to my feet and rapidly pressed the button that opened the door earlier; but it did nothing. "Let me out!" I screamed, in hope that someone would hear me. Nope. I banged my fists on the door until I heard a crackle of an overcom.

"Give it up." The voice said.

"W-Who is this?!" I frantically yelled around.

"Aheli." Her voice said from the speakers.

"Why did you lock me in here?" I sat down on the chair and turned towards the speaker.

"I can't have my test subject getting away. I'll need you for later."

"What are you talking about! This is bullcrap! Let me out right now, or I will break myself out." I shouted, standing back up and facing the speaker.

"I would love to see you try." She spoke. "It'll take a while for the DNA to process, so I've got time." I heard the creak of a chair and I bet she was kicking her feet up. I stepped up to the steel door, then walked as far back as I could. "You know you don't have to be a fool. I'm giving you a chance to back out." I got ready then sprinted shoulder first at the door.

"Ahhhh!" I cried out, grasping my shoulder as pain shot through my arm. I stumbled back and fell onto the floor.

"That's what I thought." She groaned as her chair creaked again.

"Can you just tell me what's going on here?" I grumbled while rubbing my shoulder that felt like it could've been dislocated.

"I'd rather keep toying with you. It's much more entertaining." She laughed.

"Why though?" I asked exasperatedly (Is that even a word?), trying to push my shoulder back in place.

"Because you're a threat." She immediately burst out laughing. "Who am I kidding! It's more fun to mess with you. Also, your incredibly stupid and it is so funny, you have no idea."

"Uh huh sure. I learned your language with nothing but your hand movements." I sat down on the chair again and rested my arm against the control panel.

"You mean the language that I made up right then?" She laughed. "I also gave you so many options to prove me a fake, but you didn't. You know why? Because you come from a dumb species that cannot use their brains to save their life." (Oof I felt that)

"What do you mean?"

"Do I have to spell it out for you! The language I taught you sounded nothing like the language I was speaking to Xeon. I've understood your English many, many times and you only caught me that one time by the Stede. Also, --" She started to laugh. "Wh-When I went into that "laboratory"" I could hear her air quotes, "I-I told you where I was going in-in French!" She nearly fell over laughing since her voice started to fade more while I stood, alone and in pain, not amused in the slightest.

"That doesn't prove anything." I contradicted. Aheli didn't respond and I had nothing else to say so we both sat in a long silence, only listening to the occasional crackling of the overcom. I eventually moved to over to the swivel chair in the center of the room and closed my eyes.

"It's done!" She suddenly shouted, jolting me awake from my half-asleep state. I heard her jump up from her chair and her feet moving across the floor.

"What? What's done?" I wondered aloud. I heard various beeps and hums coming from the other side of the mic.

"You!" She chirped; her mouth as close to the mic as possible.

"WHAT!" I screeched.

"See ya in a minute." Her voice sounded welcoming, but sinister, if such a sound was possible. Then, silence. There was a faint sound of a door opening, then it was silent once again. My heart started to beat a million times a minute then suddenly the door opened again. "Hello again." I darted for the door, but it closed before I could squeeze through. "Let's just make this quick and easy, ok? If you resist, it will hurt more."

"HURT MORE!" I backed away from Aheli and the small box she held.

"Take a seat, it might be awhile." She said calmly, pulling needles out of the box. I stayed put in the corner of the room.

"I-I'd rather n-not." I silently cursed myself for stuttering. She was silent for a while, prepping needles and serums, bags and tubes, while I stood terrified in the corner. She then pulled out a video camera and started recording.

"Serum AST-9876." She took one of the needles and pushed in into one of her veins as she winced in pain. She then began to walk over to me. "Test subject: Neil Cicierega; male; age 34; American." How does she know so much about me!? (It's called google, my child) She suddenly grabbed my arm, while I went stiff and rigid. She looked around but saw no particles like before. "Serum AST-9876 success." She let go of my arm and walked back over to all the other needles and serums. I let go a sigh and relaxed. That didn't hurt.

She paused the video camera and started prepping the next needle. Once it was prepped, she strolled over to me.

"Guess what." She said in fake happiness. "This one is for you." My eyes went wide as she grabbed my arm again, but this time much rougher, whipped me around and shoved me against the wall. She pressed my elbow against the small of my back and started recording.

"Serum BW-346. Test subject: Neil Cicierega; male; age 34; American." She pressed the needle into my arm.

"OH F-CK!" I screamed. It felt as though hundreds of fire ants were chewing through my arm. Then like acid was slowly melting my insides. I could feel it run in my veins; moving throughout my body. I fell down from my standing position and grabbed my arm where the needle was put in. "MAKE IT STOP!" I shouted, tears pricking the corners of my eyes.

"Serum BW-346 success!" She shouted to the camera over my screams of pain. How was that successful! It feels like I'm dying! She started to move much faster and grabbed the second needle she was prepping and sprinted back over to me. "Serum PPS-572. Test subject: Neil Cicierega; male; age 34; American."

"JUST GET ON WITH IT!" I screamed in agony. I would rather die faster than listen to her rant to the camera.

"I am, I am." She calmed. She pushed the needle into my other arm, but this one hurt not nearly as bad. The pain from before slowly began to fade. I finally was able to breath correctly.

"I-I like that one." I breathed.

"Serum PPS-572 success." She stepped away and I turned around and leaned against the wall. My hair was wet with my sweat and my chest still burned. "Only one left. I think you'll like this one."

"W-Why?" I asked; some of my limbs were still shaking.

"Just cause." I watched as she prepped the last needle, putting a usually large amount of serum in it. She started up the video camera again. "Serum DUJ-818. Test subject:" She pointed the camera towards me. "Our lovely Neil from before." I forced a slight smile. "You should sit down." She told me.

I didn't have the energy to keep standing so I obeyed and plopped down on the chair. Aheil placed the camera on the control panel then stood right in front my face, placed a hand on the right side of my face and tilted it, exposing my neck.

"Ready?"

"Just go." I groaned; she pushed the needle in then immediately started to mouth words. Or numbers? I couldn't tell. I felt nothing at first, no burning or pain, nothing good either. Just nothing. Aheli bobbed her head slowly.

"Do you feel anything... now." She spoke.

"Not re—woah. That's weird." It felt as though my feet just went missing. I couldn't move them; it was like they were completely detached. She knelt down and pulled off my shoe and forcefully grabbed my foot.

"Do you feel this?" She wiggled my foot around, but I felt absolutely nothing.

"Not in the slightest." She stood back up and continued counting. I started to get more anxious and the numbness started to climb up my legs until I couldn't even feel my hips. It was like I was physically bound to the chair.

"Tell me if you feel this." Aheil reared back and kicked my shins as hard as she possibly could, except I felt nothing.

"Nope." A smile started to appear on her face as she kept counting and the numbness kept climbing up my body. I wanted to panic, but whatever this was just drained all possible energy out of me. It was not even thirty seconds later when I couldn't feel anything. My mouth was sealed shut, I couldn't even feel if my fingers were there or not and there was no way to crane my neck to get a look. My eyes started to drift shut and I couldn't force them open.

"Goodnight Neil."

/-/

"Serum DUJ-818 success." I quickly packed up all of the needles and empty serum bottles. I looked back at Neil for a quick second before I left. His body sat limp on the chair. I walked back over to him and pressed my fingers on his neck, looking for a pulse and smiled. I pulled off his glasses, folded them up and placed them in his shirt pocket; I gently ruffled his hair. "Love ya Neil." I told him. I stood up once again and exited the room, making sure to shut the door behind me. I will clean up the body later.

The next week or so will be very productive. Xeon, Produ and I will be able to replicate the five serums that are needed to take over Earth and give it back to its rightful owners. Us. The first one prevents the chemical reaction between species. The second one prevents the chemical reaction between us and many of the pollutants on Earth. The third is used as a torture method. It will cause the victim to feel immense amounts of pain, but it would not kill them. The fourth will lessen the pain the third shot induced. Usually, we would use those two to make a human talk, giving us valuable information about their planet. The fifth shot we have nickname 'the happy shot'. It would be injected into the victims neck then travel up into the brain and begin to slowly but surely eat away at the nerves, which causes the victim to lose feeling in all of their limbs until they die. The death is quick and painless, but a death nonetheless.

After hardly any time the human race will be gone forever. The universe would be free of them and we could finally live-in peace with all the other aliens in the galaxy. Using some other technology that was created in a separate lab, in approximately a month, there will be no sign of humans anywhere on this planet. The new generations of Xzaras would never know humans existed, it would be safer that way. So human, if you're reading this, get ready.

Jeez. That got real dark real quick. I swear I didn't mean for it to get this dark but ngl I really like it. It's about 5,000 words btw.

I also didn't plan this veer so far away from the original song, but that's what I get for listening to Mouth Sounds instead of No Eyed Girl on repeat. Oh well. I hope my parents don't read this. That would be very scary.

Love y'all!
