Hey buddy, chum, pals... woe havent used that in a long time. But anyway, today was my first say of band camp! Litterally my very first, ive never gone before but i know im going to go for the next four years! It was so much fun! At the beginning me and my friends were talking and like five minuetes in we were laughing so hard we had stomachaches! Everyome there were like these weird ass people that will take you in no matter what. Just like Wattpad! Then marched for hours on end. Even though we all looked straight ahead, with a serious fucking face trying to remember all the moves.
Then after lunch break we actually got out the flags! And band members got out their instruments. But thw good ol' desert heat was not on our side. We just went over the basics and a few pep songs. But it was great having the burning hot metal stick in my hands again. After that we went into the band room because it was extremely fucking hot. We decided to organize the flag closet, which was filled with every uniform, fabric, poles, etc from past years. My job was to fold the fabrics, and there were alot of different patterns. But my favorite part of the whole day! After everyrhing was folded i looked to my side to see a sword! Hehehe, bet you can guess what i did after that! I started to play with it! I pointed it at my flag team with the biggest smug smirk. It was just rubber, so i even poked people with it. We need to do a routine with swords! There was a box filled with them, and we can wear the fancy gloves we found... unless the band members take them all.
Speaking of which, they were great! They played the Star Spangled Banner, Looney Toons, the somg with that dance where you have many different hand motions and at the end you swirl your hips around and start all over, and many other small songs. We ran out of time amd couldnt finish organizing the closet, but that means tomorrow i can yell "ENGUARD!" To random people! Im sorry, i am a child so even if its a rubber sword... hell even a styrafoam sword, i will play with it. Clearly. I still had alot of fun regardless. And if im bored enough I'll do a little chapter for each day. Probably not, because i dont think many people care for band. They think its not that hard. And i wpuld rant about it, but whats the point. But if you want to know what its like get a six foot pole, and do all the bpces, fans, tosses, singles, doubles, helicopter, and neck rolls. Of course its going to take practice, but even professionals make mistakes. So don't judge that much. Or if your like me, and you can do most of the moves... go try to play an instrument. It looks really hard... amd that just makes me want to try it even more... but thats just me. Welp, i have nothing else to say so... Boi!
