These boys- Kirk/McCoy/Spock
(QUICK THINGY, YALL GONNA BE SHORT CAUSE I AM:] SRRY)
If you had to use three words to describe James T. Kirk, Lenard McCoy, and S'chn T'gai Spock, they would be My Best Friends. You've only known Kirk and Spock since your time at Starfleet Academy, but you've known McCoy since you were young. The four of you were an unlikely quartet but you couldn't get friends better than those losers.
Of course since they are all extraordinarily gorgeous beings, you had a crush on all of them at one point. Your first crush was on Leo, you were 16 and he was 24. He was your neighbor and would often babysit you when you were younger. You were hopelessly in love with him for the majority of your life. Of course the crush ended when he had gotten married to that hellion of a woman but it didn't last long. You weren't to surprised when you realized your crush was gone by the time they'd broken up. At least you were pretty sure it was.
Then it was Jim. He was smoother than butter and had eyes his eyes were bluer than the clearest summer sky. He was the first guy you'd ever slept with. It happened when you two had went out swimming and he pinned you against the wall of the swimming pool and told you that he thought you were beautiful. One thing led to another and you were both in his room for the rest of the day. You thought the two of you might date but he soon began to build quite the reputation and you quickly got over him. You figured it'd just be better to be a friend than just a random girl. You quickly became the girl he'd go to if he needed advice, which happened more often than he'd like to admit. You thought it was funny that while all the girls thought he was some suave cool guy, you knew that he was, in fact, a complete dork.
Of course it was the half-human-half-Vulcan, whom you were sure you wouldn't like, that you fell possibly the hardest for. Your friendship with him was different from the other two. He was your only connection to the other side of your heritage. Your father was a Vulcan but you never met him since he died before you were born, but your mother and him had been married for 6 years. He was an only child and his family were not from Spock's family tree but that of another. So you knew there was no way you were related to your friend.
Spock would teach you about the history for Vulcans. As jealous as you were about him being able to live and be on the planet, you were glad your mother had decided to raise you on earth so you could learn how to deal and express emotions.
Spock would go to your little apartment and read you all the books he would read when he was young. You aren't sure when your crush developed exactly but if you had to pick a time when you knew, it's probably have to be the first time he slept over.
It had been close to 5 in the afternoon when he showed up to teach you some fighting techniques that were only taught on the planet Vulcan. The two of you were so caught up in it that it wasn't until he had accidentally pushed you into the window that you realized it was late at night. You were both sore, tired, and sweaty so you decided he could just stay the night.
He took a shower first and wore a pair of sweats you had gotten that were too big for you. After your shower you were surprised to see your pointy eared friend asleep on your couch, half naked no less. He looked so calm, and he had a little half smirk on his face. You made the decision to get him to smile more, even if it was a little as the one he had right then. His usually perfectly placed hair was messy from moving around to find a comfortable way to sleep. Then you finally got the courage to look farther down, his chest was smoother than you'd thought it'd be and he was skinny like you'd expected but was still nicely toned. All in all, he was a strangely perfect mix between cute and hot.
Your little sleepovers became such a normal thing that he even had clothes for the nights he stayed at your apartment. He eventually began to date Uhura and you quickly became friends with her. You also dropped your silly crush on him, not wanting to come between the two who quickly became your new OTP, right behind Jim and Leo.
SKIP IDK HOW MANY YEARS TO YALL BEING ON THE ENTERPRISE!!
Now Kirk was your captain and Spock was his second in command. Leo, or rather Bones, was the CMO and you were a nurse and Bones's assistant. The four of you would hang out as much as possible but your duties sometimes got in the way.
"(Y/N)! There is something you need to know." Uhura looked around nervously. You couldn't help but be worried since she doesn't scare easily.
"What happened Nyota?! Is it one of my boys?" You had adopted the habit of calling the three idiots you call best friends "my boys". They protested at first but eventually gave up and accepted their titles.
She tilted her head to the side. "Sort of," you look at her worriedly, "The thing is they've sorta made a bet." You shake your head, still not understanding. "Ok they all know that you had a crush on them at some point." You look at her worriedly. "Hey it's fine, we've been broken up for almost a year now. Plus it was kinda obvious that you liked him."
"Not that obvious!" Your cheeks heat up. You hate the fact that you are so easy to read when it comes to those three.
"Anyways," She says shaking her head, "They think you still like one of them, and they think it's them. So they made a bet to see who you still like."
You roll your eyes. 'No doubt it was Jim who brought it up, then Spock had to disagree because he's Spock. Bones probably just went along to have something to do.' You let out an audible sigh. 'Oh well, at least it explains their attitude lately.' You think to yourself. You look up to Uhura, your only girl friend, as an idea comes to mind. "How about we turn the tables?" You say with a devilish glint in your eyes that made Uhura glad she didn't partake in the betting.
After a month of flirting tips from Uhura, you decide to test you new abilities. She thought you weren't ready but you wanted to prove her wrong. It just so happens that the perfect opportunity just presented its self. Everyone was going crazy being in the ship with nothing happening so Jim decided to take a little trip down to a friendly planet.
You see your three best friends walking up to you in their Civilian clothes. You smiled slightly, waiting to see who would be the first to catch on. "Hey (Y/N)!" Kirk yelled out, as he jogged up to you. You laugh as his joyful expression turns into on of confusion. "Heyyy.." his voice trailed off, "Isn't that my sweatshirt?!" He looks at you with wide eyes.
You smile sweetly. "And if it is?" You reply in a slightly flirtatious tone. He rolled his eyes and kissed your forehead, placing his hands on your hips. You noticed Spock give Kirk a dirty look. Go time you think to yourself.
You walk up to Bones and wrap your arms around him, accepting his offer for a hug. He looks at you with a smug smirk, "You're wearing my cologne."
"Eh." You shrug your shoulders, "It's a nice smell Leo, it's kinda like you, old but surprisingly attractive." He let out a deep laugh, meeting your eyes. You blushed involuntarily, the look in his eyes made you forget who was around you. Then you heard Kirk cough, loudly. You see Bones roll his eyes.
You mentally chastise yourself for letting them effect you. You turn to Spock, and give him what you were hoping was a easygoing but still flirtatious smile. He cocked his head to one side before walking up to your slowly. He stops when there is only about a foot of space between the two of you. You meet his eyes as he reaches for the collar of your/Kirk's jacket. Your breath hitches as he pulls it down slightly, his fingers brushing against your throat. He pulls the collar down a little bit and smirks at your top.
"I do believe that is my shirt that you are wearing (Y/N)." His eyebrow raises a little, as a smug look takes over his face. You still can't seem to find words, you and Spock have flirted but he's never actively tried to touch you. Besides when you were sparring of course. He was always saying how Vulcans avoided it when possible because it was the Vulcan equivalence as a kiss. You snap out of your trance and cock out your hip, making you seem to be shorter but also giving everyone a view of your hips and butt. You see his ears get a slight green tint to them.
You take a step towards him, your feet now touching his. Because of your height difference you now have to look up at him. "And if it is? Whatcha gonna do about it Commander?" You didn't mean for his title to come out in such breathy tone but it worked to your advantage, since it was not only Spock who took in a deep, stuttering breath.
You smile up at the trio, your attitude suddenly flipped, "Well?" You look at them expectantly. "Come on! By the time we get there all the good food'll be gone." At the you spin on your heels and walk towards the cafeteria. Not forgetting to add extra sway to your step, just like you and Uhura had practiced.
You could've sworn you heard a very quiet, "Good God woman," from a certain doctor.
The four of you made your way to the cafeteria, multiple jokes (normal and flirtatious ones) were tossed back and forth. "I'm gonna go get some napkins and straws, y'all need any?" You say already half out of your seat. The guys shake their heads as you walk away.
When you finally get to the table with all the napkins and utensils you realize that all the napkins are gone. The only one you can see are on the wall. You look around but everyone seems to be busy so you begin to try to reach. You try to stand on your tippy-toes, then going as far as to jump to try and grab at least one. You desperately hoped no one noticed as you lifted a leg to climb in the table. You nearly fall but a pair of hands grip your waist. An earthy aroma filled your senses as your unknown savior sets you down on the floor. You smile as you turn around, having an idea of who it could be.
"Hey Sulu!" You smile up at him, "Thanks for saving my ass right there."
He smiles down at you. Hikaru Sulu wasn't your best friend but you definitely loved hanging out with him. He would teach you the different flowers and wildlife of some of the planted you had visited. "Yeah well I'm pretty sure your boyfriends are going to kill me now."
You roll your eyes at the boyfriends comment. "And why is that Hikaru?"
"'Cause Im pretty sure they were enjoying watching you struggle to get these." As he finishes his sentence he leans forward and pulls a handful of napkins for you.
"Thanks Sulu!" You smile brightly at him. He nods and walks away. You make your way back to the table and the mood seems to have changed drastically from when you first got up.
"Uh you boys ok?" You look at each of your boys. Kirk and Bones were red and Spock was staring at you. You had learned to notice his little habits, knowing what he was feeling and when. He was pissed. You quickly being to worry as you finally realize the effect you have on them.
Trying to get rid of the foul mood you try to make a joke, "Hey Kirk, what do you call a man with a fake toe?"
He rolls his eyes but give in, not being able to resist your smile. "I don't know, what would you call him (Y/N)?"
"ROBERTO!" You laugh at your own, terrible, joke. Kirk laughs along with you, not because of the joke, but because of your reaction to it.
"I do not understand (Y/N). I know a Roberto but his feet are real." You look over to Spock and frown exaggeratedly.
"Because Spock, Roberto sounds like rubber-toe!" He just nods but Bones grins, thinking the need for you to explain was funnier than they joke. You, being the mature adult you are, stick your tongue out at him. All of the boys seem to think this funny, since Kirk and Bones laugh as Spock smiles.
You continue to eat lunch without anymore incidents. But the last few months had been an eye-opener for you. You realized that you did in fact have a crush on someone in the Enterprise, but it wasn't any of your boys.
'Now I only have to find a way to tell them.' You think as you watch Uhura walk with another crew member, laughing loudly. 'And her.'
