Destiel one shot~ The Boy Next Door~ Part 1

Dean Winchester was looking out his window, his bright grean eyes scowling as a moving truck moved out of his neighbor's driveway.

New neighbors. Why did they have to move away?! Dean had never been friends with the neighbors, but he DIDN'T want KNEW ones.

Sam joined him at the window, shielding his eyes from the sun. "Should we go say hi?" He asked.

"No. I don't care who they are and neither should you." He said, hiding his fear with hostility.

Sam rolled his eyes. "It's called MANNERS. And I know you don't like things changing, but maybe this is for the best. " He mumbled and disappeared.
Dean ignored him, staring as he saw Sam greet 2 adults by a black car.

'Sammy and his manners.' Dean thought, almost turning away before someone caught his eye.

A boy, his age, maybe a year younger. He had dark brown hair, almost black. He had pale skin that the light shown off of and probably wore glasses, from what Dean could tell, considering he was facing away from him. Another boy, (his brother probably) came out after him, golden brown hair shining in the sun, and he grinned as him and Sam shook hands.

Dean stared at his new neighbor, leaning against the window to get a closer look at him. He didn't notice Sam watching him, tilting his head curiously. Or at least trying, because the other brother was all over him. The parents didn't seem to notice though.

Dean was practically falling out the window to get a closer look. But ONLY because he was curious. That was it, definitely. There was no way Dean Winchester....well....

The boy was still facing the opposite direction, and looked shyly back and forth before walking straight into the house.

Dean had to break his gaze, sadly. He had time to notice the boy all over Sammy and his defensive older brother instincts kicked in. He shot straight out of the door, down the sidewalk with the wind wipping his face. And straight to Sammy, the boy, and the two parents.

"H-hello." He panted, waving at the two adults before stepping between the boy and Sam. Sam smiled, and the boy frowned. The two adults laughed.

"Hello Dean, your brother Sam was telling us about you! Thank you for welcoming us to the neighborhood. I'm Meg, and this is my husband Crowley." She said, smiling. The man beside her, Crowley, just nodded, his gaze fixated on something in the distance.

Dean had regained his breathe, and smiled at the two adults politely. "We'll be inside now, moving in, so you three can mingle." She said and led her husband into the house.

Dean waved after them before turning to the boy that had been flirting with Sammy. "And you?"

"Gabriel." He said, winking at Sam. Sam just rolled his eyes, shoving his hands into his pockets.

Dean glared. "You stay away from my brother, trickster." Dean grumbled, and started to drag Sam away, who was chuckling softly at Dean's reaction.

"Only if you stay away from mine!" Dean heard over his shoulder and he rolled his eyes.

"You can count on it!"

Gabriel would not be able to count on it.
