1. So. I've been seeing a few memes go around (btw this is directed at the phandom) where there's a phrase like "every phanfic: Dan's almond eyes and chocolate locks" and then a photo of Dan photoshopped with almonds for eyes and literal pieces of chocolate and padlocks on his head. If you write any sort of fanfiction, I'd suggest using an adjective before, which may sound weird to you, because it does to me. An example of this would be "Phil's eyes reminded me of crystals" instead of "Phil's crystal eyes" or "Dan's chocolate-coloured locks" instead of "Dan's chocolate locks".
2. Okay. So this one is more about grammar and spelling mistakes, but there are a lot of fics/stories that I probably wouldn't consider reading just because they have errors in the first few sentences or paragraphs. You could go over it yourself, or use grammarly, or ask a friend to read it. You could even try to contact me and I'll do it, but I've got to warn you I'm going to shame you on every grammar and spelling mistake you make. Also, I don't answer texts.
3. There's no shame in asking people for help on words. I had an essay in English once, and since I have no idea what words to use in any situation, I literally went around asking people how to convey that a guy was attractive or someone you'd want to get to know. I never got a proper answer, but it might work for you.
4. Your - belonging to you, e. g. Your bicycle
You're - a compound of "you" and "are", e. g. You're not allowed to be gay, it's against the code of conduct at school.
Their - belonging to them, e. g. I heard their dog ran away again.
There - a place, e. g. Over there is the bathroom.
They're - a compound of "they" and "are", e. g. They're lucky to be able to even have videos of My Chemical Romance.
