I have never really shared an original story idea here, but it's been stuck in my brain for a while and I wanna share and hear some thoughts-

Robbie is a mage prodigy. Brought up in the Brighton Boarding School for Mages from the time she was eight, she has excelled in every art she was taught. Other students aspire to be her, teachers love her, and everyone expects high things from her as she takes on her last year. Her plan for the future, however, is much different than most expected. 

Levi is a Dark Arts mage. The only Dark Arts mage in the Northern Region of Amare. He is not well-liked, but he is well-known. He has accepted this, accepted his curse and his place in life. All he wishes to do is right his former wrongs. He is a Protector, even if the kingdom of Avean will never see him as one. 

Robbie does. Drawn to a magic she's never been allowed to study before, the young woman strives to learn the secrets of the ancient power, strives to use it to protect, just like Levi does. Becoming his apprentice is certainly not what many wanted for her, but it is the path she chose. 

Amongst her exciting adventures, Robbie and Levi face violent (and a bit stupid) Orks, mournful Werewolves, Dark Fairies with a thirst for revenge, and giant Hellhounds. Robbie never finds it boring, but the more she learns, the more she puts together about a much bigger picture, hidden in plain sight. 

Is the Kingdom of Avean really what it claims to be?

Very vague, I know, but I have ideas mapped out in my head, and I don't wanna spoil them-

Anyways, this book will be a fantasy/slice of life story. Who knows, it could possibly turn into a series? The first book is going to start a bit slow. Mostly fun adventures of Robbie learning what it is to be a Protector and a Dark Mage, with some uncovered twists every now and then. 

I would love to hear you guys' thoughts on the story idea! I hope to start it soon, but damn am I busy lately lol. If you want to, I would love to read your comments on yor thoughts.
