The purple berries that Jewel eats from a palm tree in Rio 2 are Açaí berries,  (pronounced uh-sigh-ee) For humans they are reowned for their health properties and nice in smoothies, but very expensive indeed..

I had to copy and paste the word Açaí from Wikipedia because I don't know how to get those special letters! Lucky Jewel getting to eat the berries straight from the tree- for free! I've only ever had Açaí in smoothies mixed with other, more common fruit and in Jelly Belly jelly beans!I couldn't get a picture of the scene where Jewel eats them so I've just got a picture of some real Açaí berries.
