Real parrots do not two toes that face forward and one toe facing backward like the Rio macaws.Rather, they have two toes facing backward and two toes facing forward. 

Another bad mistake, that wasn't fixed in the second movie! Maybe the producers didn't notice, or that the real parrot foot would look weird in the movies. The drawing is of a real parrot foot.
