Blu's full name is Tyler Blu Gunderson. Linda says this in the scene where she is trying to feed him some fruity vitamin cereal in the first movie. 

So Blu is only his middle name! Maybe he should be called Tyler and then he wouldn't get teased so much by the other blue macaws!
