~Percy~
Its was in the dead of night when Percy heard a sharp breath and then someone screaming bloody murder.

Fortunately, or unfortunately,  he recognized the scream as the one and only Annabeth Chase so Percy, being the good boyfriend he is,  grabbed Riptide of his desk and dashed into the night towards the Chase Space Mansion Which Annabeth and her cousin, Magnus, had been staying in.

When he burst in the front door he soon heard another scream for Annabeth and dashed up the stairs 2 at a time having rushing thoughts in his head, would if she was hurt? This only made him go faster and soon enough he burst into her room.

He took a quick scan of his surroundings and saw a spider bigger than his hand and was advancing on Annabeth who was, still, screaming.

He quickly uncapped Riptide and stabbed it into it swiftly and it burst into dust. Percy ran to comfort Annabeth and when she calmed down she thanked him and Percy left the room and slept in the room across from her.

They had a dreamless sleep in Chase Space that night.

In the morning  Percy was ready for the next night this happens.

But it never did happen again.

All was well.
