I must say, Cross!Chara is my favorite out of all the Chara's in the 300+ Au's I've seen. So why not make a chapter about him?

His story is tragic, even more so then other Chara's. I mean, in this Au Gaster is his father and Frisk, Cross, and Papyrus are his little brothers. Even though it doesn't look like it Chara is in fact the oldest out of the four. He had to fight Gaster to protect the people he cared about and basically lost his life and was erased from the universe. He hates Gaster and wants to get revenge, that's why he's trying to bring back X-tale. Before he was infected with the x-event virus created by Gaster he wasn't a bad person. And I still think he's just sad, he lost his entire family and was forgotten. And his dad keeps trying to get rid of him, and of course Cross doesn't trust him either. I feel that maybe Chara just wants everything to go back to normal.

Gaster used to see Chara and Frisk as his kids, maybe he still does but he calls them experiments. It's like he has no regard for his human children anymore. I can see why Chara was helping Frisk to try and change everything.
