Media: This is Steve. Children, don't be a Steve.

• Steve doesn't tell anyone, but his dad is actually head of the police force. Mr. Randle has arrested Dally twice now, and Dally still hasn't realized anything.

• Steve is incredibly OCD with soap. It takes him 5 minutes to wash his hands, and at least an hour to take a shower and wash his hair. 

• Steve is also really picky with food. He never tries anything new because he's worried he won't like it and will waste it, while other kids are starving in other countries.

• Steve is the ideal boyfriend to Evie. He buys her flowers, takes her out to fancy restaurants, and gets her expensive jewelry. They rarely ever fight. That's why Evie cried when Steve got arrested.

• Whenever Steve gets arrested, he always tells the police officer the same terrible joke.
"Why did the pilot crash the plane?"
"Shut your trap, Randle!"
"Why did the pilot crash the plane?"
"Fine, I'll play your little game. Why?"
"Because he was a loaf of bread."
The police officers at the station hate him for that one.

• Steve always has to brag about how much he knows about cars.
Socs will be about to jump him, and he'll suddenly point at their car and say, "Did you know that that car is a 1954 Sky Blue Mustang, the hood slightly dented from a brick wall, the left side scratched by me about a week ago when you guys weren't looking, and SEE YA LATER, SUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!" And he'll run away while they're too confused to react.

• Steve, as horrible as he is at singing, will randomly burst into song whenever he can.
"Hey, Ponyboy. How are ya?"
"Not good. I've got a cold, you see, and-."
"IN THE ARMS, OF THE ANGELS-"
"Steve, I'm not dying!"

• Steve loves all things chocolate. Seriously, he'll rob candy stores for chocolate bars.

• Steve, after Ponyboy, is the best artist in the gang. He and Ponyboy will sometimes get together and give each other tips on drawing.

• Steve was born with his stomach backwards. It doesn't cause him any real medical problems, but he'll occasionally get random stomachaches.
