Darry: He sort of gives a hearty chuckle, and grins for about ten minutes after. If it's incredibly funny, he'll accidentally snort, which causes him and the gang to laugh even more. 

Sodapop: His actual laugh is a girly giggle, so when he's laughing, he always tries to deepen his voice and make his laugh more 'manly'.

Ponyboy: He smiles and laughs like an ordinary person. The only difference is that whenever he laughs, he slaps his knee, something he got from his father.

Johnny: He will usually just smile, but not make any sound. Even if it's a hilariously funny joke, Johnny will laugh silently, making the expression of laughing, but with no sound.

Two-Bit: Two-Bit's laugh makes him sound like a total maniac. He likes it, and laughs whenever he can.

Dally: As much as Dally used to hated it when he was younger, his laugh almost sounds evil. Almost always, after he laughs, people will look at him like, "Dude! What the heck is up with your laugh?" He's learned how to use it to his advantage, so he can scare little kids and other greasers.

Steve: Steve, like Ponyboy, also laughs normally. His only quirk is that when he's flirting with girls (or talking with Evie), he'll cover his mouth with his hand while laughing so no one can see his crooked teeth.

Question of the Chapter: What does your laugh sound like? I sorta just make weird nasal noises instead of laughing most of the time, or I'll giggle a lot, but if something's really funny, I'll snort.
