(I had to make a few edits. If any of you are wondering if this is canon to the Ninjago Series I am writing, yes it is. This takes place right Ransei in Peril which I have yet to write!)

(Hanbei's POV)

               My lord, Hideyoshi, is going to get married to Lady Nene. What did he want me to do? Plan his wedding! I was working tirelessly at Ignis to make sure the flowers were ready, the decorations were in order, and the cake was being made. In other words, I AM COMPLETELY STRESSED OUT! I was resting in the living room of the palace as Kanbei was fanning me. At least he was a good sport and helping me relax.

"I can help you with your work" he said annoyed.

"I can't let my best friend work! I have to! After all, I did promise our lord that he would receive the best wedding ever!" I proclaimed as I sat up and fell back down into the red couch.

Who am I kidding? I might be way in over my head about this. How can I plan a wonderful wedding? Actually, a better question is why my lord and lady is not planning the wedding? Unless they are doing wedding shopping.

"You are going to stress yourself out more" Kanbei pointed out as he stopped fanning me.

"No. I will not. Just you watch!" I shouted at him as I smacked the fan away as footsteps were marching towards us.

Who could that be?

"Hello you two!" Kai's cheerfully annoying voice ran in our palace.

Great, what is she doing here?

"Ah, Lady Kai, Kunoichi, and Hayakawa. What brings you here?" Kanbei asked politely as he bowed his eyes.

My eyes nearly popped out of my head, because Lady Hayakawa is here?! On the day I am stressed out the most?! Why?! I haven't even showered. Wait, what if this is a tactical skill he is using to make me feel stressed out? I sat up and turned around. Yep, I am going to beat up Kanbei for this. She was standing there, holding the fan, looking very beautiful as the sun gently fell on her.

"I believe you dropped this" she said as she handed me the fan.

"Ok, I did! Thank you!" I said as I accepted it and turned away from her to march away from them.

I could hear some of the girls laughing as I pulled my hat down to cover my face. I could feel my face heating up. Man, this is not my day.

(Hayakawa's POV)

Oh, I must've hurt him again. I turned to my friends, Kai and Kun, but they were giggling. I was very saddened. I didn't mean to hurt him.

"You didn't hurt him" Kanbei reassured me as he stood up.

"I didn't?" I asked surprised.

"No. Hanbei's just stressed out lately. He is preparing the wedding for our lord and lady" he explained.

Oh! He's stressed out?! I am so relieved by this, but that did not explain why Kai and Kun were laughing at him. I didn't make any sense.

"Well, he won't be stressed out anymore!" Kun laughed out as she sat on the ground.

"Why is that?" Kanbei asked as his raised a brow at her behavior.

I clapped my hands together as I faced him, "Because Lord Hideyoshi and Lady Nene requested us and you to help Hanbei prepare the wedding!"

Kanbei placed his hand over his mouth as he laughed. I really do not get what is so funny.

"So, what should we do first?" I asked them seriously.

"Let's get the flowers ready!" Kun shouted excitedly.

"I can handle the food!" Kai gave a thumbs up.

"I'll handle the guest list" Kanbei said reluctantly as he turned to me, "Find Hanbei and talk to him"

I was blushing a bit, but I understood. I'll find him and talk to him. He gets to rest after working so hard. Now, I just have to find him.

(Hanbei's POV)

I was sitting on the roof of the palace and looking at the sky. Out of the all the days she had to be here. Sigh. I wish I wasn't so flustered around her.

"She's just perfect. She's beautiful like the fresh fallen snow. She's as smart as me. She's even kind to anyone and helps anyone! She's just perfect..." I said to myself.

"That wasn't so hard now, was it? You just have to say it to her" Hanzo said as he appeared from my shadow.

I let out a scream as I jumped away from him. Why are there so many people here today? Wait, how long was he listening to me?!

"I can't tell her that! She probably has a lot of suitors. Also, why are you here? Are you trying to stalk Kun?" I asked him annoyed.

Hanzo nearly slipped off the roof when I mentioned her name. I knew those two had sexual tension and hasn't told her how he completely feels about her.

"I am here to help take some of the wedding plans off your shoulders. That is also why Kai, Kun, and Hayakawa are here as well" Hanzo explained, "And Kun doesn't know how I feel about her, so you better not tell her. I do have the skills to kill you if I wanted too"

Oh, isn't he just a nice person. I grumbled and looked away from him. I can't stand him at times.

"Aren't you supposed to be a silent ninja who doesn't feel any emotion?" I asked him as I rested my face in the palm of my hand.

"Aren't you supposed to be a master tactician who can solve anything not matter what kind of situation he is in?" he asked me without any emotions in his voice.

Of course, he would say that. I stood up and faced the open sky. I used to believe that this was the only world out there and that I knew everything. Man, I was so naive back then. I should be able to confess to her about how I feel after everything I went through.

"Alright. I'll plan it" I stated as I closed my eyes.

"About time" Kanbei said as he walked up to me.

Seriously, why is everyone here?! This is my secret place!

"What are you doing he-EEERREEE?!" I screamed as I stepped on a lose tile and fell backwards.

"Hanbei!" Kanbei shouted in a panic as he tried to grab my hand.

I really hope something breaks my fall!

(Hayakawa's POV)

I was searching for Hanbei outside of the palace. You know, for a palace being theme around fire, this is a very nice and lush garden. Lord Hideyoshi must've made a garden for Lady Nene. That is so romantic. I hope I can do that for Hanbei.

"What are you doing he-EEEREEE?!" someone shouted.

I looked around for the source of the voice. I then looked up and saw someone falling towards me! We crashed into each other, though he was on top of me. That is going to hurt in the morning. Who fell on me? I looked up to see a worried Kanbei and laughing Hanzo. That was cruel.

"Ow. Thank you for breaking my fall" a weak Hanbei uttered as he rolled off me.

Hanbei fell on top of me.

"No problem, but are you ok?" I asked him concerned as I faced him.

Hanbei pulled his hat down as he reassured "I'm fine. It was those idiots who pushed me off the roof!"

I could actually see Hanzo do that, but not Kanbei. Hanbei sighed as he looked at me.

"Well, I have work to do" he said as he stood up and stretched a bit.

Ah, that's right!

I quickly grab his hand as I explained "You get to have a break! Your lord and lady Nene sent us to help you!"

Hanbei stopped walking and looked at me. Did I do something wrong? I let go of his hand as he faced me with a blush over his face.

"Oh. Thank you" he told me surprised.

Is he ok? Did I do something. He let go of my hand and ran off. I wanted to call out to him, but I was afraid of hurting him more. I guess the best course of action is for me to work hard to prepare the wedding. Hanbei is there something I did to hurt you? Can you not tell how much I love you?

(Hanbei's POV)

Why can't I talk to her?! Why can't I confess to her?! I was running towards my room and jumped onto the bed. I heard a knock.

"Who is it?" I asked in a mumbled as I buried my face in the pillow.

"Your lord" Hideyoshi said as he entered my room.

I bolted my head up. Oh, geez. What did I do?

"I've heard about your struggles with love" he said as he sat next to me.

"I'm sorry, my lord. It has been a bit hard for me when she's around. I just have to try and not let it distract me. I am so sorry if this interfered with your wedding preparations", I bowed my head in shame.

"Don't be. Nene and I were just trying to prepare our wedding in her kingdom. Nene can handle the rest at her kingdom. Now, let me help you out" he began to give me advice, "Did you remember how I behaved whenever Nene was around?"

"You were love struck. It was like she could control your every movements by just being there" I answered.

"I was so nervous and afraid of embarrassing myself and worrying about her safety! Haha! I recall Motochika and Motonari making fun of me a bit too!" he joked at the memories.

Those were very fun times, but what does this have to do with anything?

"You know what I had to do? I had to think of a plan to win her heart! I just did that!" he said boldly, "I made my plan based around things she loved to do and expressed my love to her. Now, I am about to marry her. Do you know what I am suggesting to you?"

I nodded as I stated, "I'll make a plan for me to confess to her and give her the best night ever!"

I ran out of the room as Hideyoshi laughed in delight. I have to find Kai, Kun, Hanzo, and Kanbei for my plan to work!

(Hayakawa's POV)

I had finished scheduling the hot spring for the couple. I can't believe the sun was going down already. I grasp my hands as I think about how much I must've hurt Hanbei.

"Haya!" Kai called over to me excitedly.

"Yes Kai? Did something happen?" I asked her as I tried to hide my sad expression.

"I found someplace you might like to be at!" she said as she took my hand and pulled me.

We went inside the palace and entered Hanbei's library! Oh, no! I don't think he would appreciate it if we were not here. Kai pushed me into the library and closed the doors! What is she doing?! As I approached the doors, I heard footsteps coming towards me.

"Ah! Hayakawa! Thank goodness you are here!" Hanbei greeted with a smile on his face.

He's happy to see me?! Oh, that's wonderful!

"What is it?" I asked him politely.

He took my hand and walked towards a certain section of the library. He pulled a book out of a shelf and handed it to me. I took the book and gasped in delight. This was my favorite book about a girl who fought for her father!

"Do you like it?" he asked eagerly.

"Yes, this is my favorite book" I said in delight.

"Great!" he said excitedly as he ran away from me.

What was that about?

"Don't mind him. He's just very stupid when it comes to his emotions" Kanbei said as he walked to me from behind, "Follow me"

Ok? I don't quiet understand what Hanbei is doing, but it must be something important. I hope. We walked out of the library and arrived at a garden. This is a nice place.

"Just make sure he doesn't mess with fire" Kanbei said as he departed.

Alright? Hanbei then landed in front of me as he placed his shield down. He bowed, and I clapped.

"What do you think of the royal garden? There a piece of each of Ransei's continents" he explained as he showed me the flowers from each kingdom.

He stopped at a flower from Gragspur. I smiled in delight at the flowers as I kneeled down. These were my favorite flowers. Hanbei looked away from me and nodded his head.

"These are beautiful flowers, Hanbei. Thank you" I said to him in delight.

"I am so happy you enjoyed it. Please follow me" he said as he took my hand.

We walked towards a patio as Kun and Hanzo placed cakes and tea on the table. The two of them smiled and departed from the table. Hanbei pulled a seat for me to sit in. I thanked him and placed the book on the table as he took his seat.

"I hope you enjoy the tea and cake" he said as he took a sip.

I ate a piece of the cake and took a sip of the tea. These were from my kingdom! Hanbei did this for me? Why? I thought he was afraid of me?

"I should explain myself" he said as he placed his cup on the table and smiled at me, "I can figure out anything. Expect, whenever I am with you, my mind can't figure out what to do. I could never find the perfect plan to win your heart, so I hide my emotions from you"

I felt very touched by his response. He's so sweet.

"Today, I finally found the perfect plan to show you how much I love you. I researched everything you love and cared about. I wanted to let you know how much I love you. I will construct a perfect plan to keep you safe from all harm! I love you, Hayakawa" he proclaimed as he took my hands, "Do you love me for who I am?"

I was blushing madly. He loves me this much? Truly?

'Oh Hanbei. I love you too!" I shouted in delight as jumped across the table to hug him.

He was surprised, but he held me close. He stroked my hair and reassured me that his love for me will not die away. I know it won't.

(Hideyoshi's POV)

Ah, my junior lord finally found his lady. Kai was cheering at the two of them while Kun jumped hugged Hanzo. Kanbei stood next to me with a scowl on his face.

"You planned this, didn't you?" he asked annoyed.

"Whatever do you mean, my trusted Kanbei?" I joked as I threw my right hand onto my chest.

"My lord, you need to discuss these plans before executing them" Kanbei advised.

"Oh, but he did!" Nene, my lovely wife, said as she jumped out of my shadow to sit next to me, "I helped him with this. We had to find some way to thank Hanbei for all his hard work"

I gave her a hug as we smiled at Hanbei and Hayakawa. Those two were definitely made for each other.
