Nightmare!Sans x Suicidal!Depressed!Reader (ANGST+FLUFF+SONGFIC)
Some days…
Things just take…
Laughter was heard as a group of teens walked down a bridge. Everyone was smiling. In that group was a girl named Y/N. Though nobody noticed the lurking monster behind them or the tired and fake smile of the girl.
Way too much of my energy.
I look up and whole world’s spinning.
Nobody noticed how Y/N slowed down her walking. They continued on, eventually leaving the bridge. Y/N looked up to the sky, a sudden dizziness hitting her. The monster lurking had stopped, watching the girl with mild interest.
You take...
My cares away.
Nightmare watched the girl stop, looking at her with a bit of curiosity. God, he had become so distracted from work as he followed her. Whether it’d be the feeling of leeching off of her negative emotions or not, he didn’t know. Perhaps he loved her…?
He scowled at the thought. He shouldn’t be thinking of that right now.
I can so overcomplicate…
People tell me to medicate.
Y/N sighed. She was used to this. She went over to the edge of the bridge, her cold and pale hands gripping tightly onto the railing. She had tried telling her friends about her depression and issues, but all they would bring up would be about her seeking a therapist or professional help to get medication. She chuckled dryly. That's not the only issue.
Feel my blood running!
Y/N rolled up her hoodie sleeves, frowning as she looked at the dried blood. She hadn’t cared to put on any bandages after her little “session.” She picked at the scabs, not noticing as the blood once more began to seep out of her skin.
The monster watched, slowly becoming concerned.
Swear the sky is fallin’!
Y/N looked up, the dizziness continuing. She should just end it all. It would stop all of the pain, wouldn’t it? She nodded. That’s what she’ll do. She hopped over the railing, now standing on the edge of the bridge.
The monster’s eye widened. It knew what was about to happen.
How do I know this shit’s fabricated?
Y/N cringed. God, she always hated the smell of the ocean. It makes her think of all the bad things that have happened to her. People say it’s stupid, but in her eyes there was some kind of sense to it.
Time goes by and I..!
Can’t control my mind!
It seemed like hours had gone past. Y/N was thinking of everything that happened this year. Her thoughts got darker and darker with no way out. The grip on the railing behind her loosened as she slightly shuffled off the edge.
The monster began rushing forward.
Don’t know what else to try, but you tell me every time…
Y/N let go of the railing, falling forward.
But she didn’t land.
Warmth spread through her body as a figure hugged her close. She hadn’t felt this way in a long time. She hugged the stranger back before a heart-wretching sob escaped her, tears streaming down her face.
Nightmare looked at the girl, sadness in his eyelight. He moved his skull a bit closer to Y/N’s head before speaking softly.
“Just keep breathin’.”
