The Rescue Riders bustled around the Roost. Winger had passed out and they were determined to help him. He was sleeping in a haybed, splinters still in his paws and his head growing a bruise. Summer quickly ground up a leafy paste, while Leyla wrapped normal unground leaves into a sort of bandage. Burple had just come back inside from fishing when Aggro began to heat up Winger's paws a bit. This made it easier for Cutter to slowly, gently pull the splinters out. As the two continued this process, Winger began to wake up. In a daze, he pulled away from Cutter.

"Hey! I'm trying to get your splinters out!" He said.

"Huh? Oh, sorry." Winger laid back down and let Aggro and Cutter do their thing.

"I got some cream for your head." Summer said as she spread the leaf paste lightly on the bruise.

"I brought you some fish." Burple told him as he dropped a few red snappers next to Winger.

"Thought you might be hungry." Leyla picked up the leaf bandages as Aggro and Cutter finished with the splinters.

"I made these for your paws." She said as she wrapped them around Winger.

"Dak gathered the materials. Well, aside from the fish. That was all Burple." Leyla stated. Dak put a hand up in greeting and Burple wagged his tail.

"You guys did this all for me?" Winger asked.

"Of course! You're our friend." Aggro replied. Winger looked around at his team, focusing on each face one at a time.

"Thank you. All of you. I'm sorry for being reckless. I'm not sure what came over me, but I'll try not to let it happen again." He said.

"As Long as You're ok now, that's all that matters." Summer's tail swished. Cutter rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, that, but still please don't do it again." He said. Winger chuckled.

"I won't. I promise."

Surprise!!! The pairing was a friendship pairing between all the Rescue Riders! :D
