It was a Friday evening and the sun was almost set. You were hanging out at the train station watching your two friends, Boyfriend and Girlfriend, rap battle someone. Well, mostly Boyfriend. Girlfriend was just sitting on top of the boombox. But she was still fun to watch, waving her arms in the air and just having a good time.

You smiled watching the two. They were always such fun to be around. However, there was one person you liked hanging out with even more. It was Pico, the trigger happy ginger boy who was currently running late to the show. You kept glancing around, waiting for him to turn up. Your heart skipped beats at just the thought of him.

Boyfriend was just finishing up a song with the other guy when Pico finally arrived.

"Hey Y/N." You heard his slightly raspy voice coming up besides you. "What did I miss?"

"Pico!" You exclaimed, a bit overexcited. You realized this right away and changed your tone before he could notice. "It's about time. You're late!" You said playfully.

"Not my fault no one knows how to drive." He commented.

"You drove here?"

"No."

He smirked as he saw you become visually confused. Although that was one of the things you liked about Pico. He was surprising and a little crazy.

"Hey Pico!" Boyfriend yelled as he and Girlfriend ran over.

"Hey guys. You keeping on the rap battle grind?" He asked cooly as he ruffled Boyfriend's hair.

"Heck yeah! Just beat Senpai again like, three times in a row!" Boyfriend cheered.

Girlfriend giggled at him, then looked over at you.

"Well you seem happier than before, Y/N." She noted. Boyfriend smirked.

"This doesn't have anything to do with Pico, does it?" He asked slyly.

"W-what? No!" You panicked, picking at your shirt. "I'm just happy to see you win again, that's all."

Truth was, you were happy to see Pico. But you weren't about to tell him that, what would he think? You and Boyfriend continued to bicker while Pico just chuckled at the conversation.

You heard footsteps beside you and saw a figure approaching out of the corner of your eye. The others noticed too, and you stopped talking all at once. It was the guy Boyfriend had rap battles earlier. He looked a bit angry, but as soon as he saw you, his entire expression changed. It creeped you out.

"Boyfriend, who is this friend of yours? She's even lovelier than your little Girlfriend! No offense, of course. All women are beautiful." He winked at you after saying this. Everyone looked disgusted, but he either couldn't tell or didn't care.

"Oh, frick off, Senpai." Girlfriend said as she rolled her eyes. "She's not interested."

"How about I ask her myself?" The boy said with a little bit of an edge to his voice. "Greetings, fair maiden. My name is Senpai. Who might you be?" He questioned.

"Uh, Y/N." You reluctantly told him. Pico shot him death glares but Senpai just brushed him off.

"Well, my lovely Y/N, care to join me for a nighttime stroll? I was going to stop at the cafe before heading home." Senpai offered his hand to you.

"No thanks." You said and backed up a little. You saw his face change for a moment into something of anger. "I'm hanging out with my friends right now." You added, hoping he would understand.

"Oh come now, you don't wanna hang out with these low lives." He said in a husky voice as he moved closer to you. Pico growled at him.

"Let a guy like me treat you tonight, baby." Senpai wrapped his arm around you. You tried to gently pull away, but he noticed and tightened his grip.

"Do you mind?" You asked, more annoyed than scared by this point.

"Not at all~" He cooed.

"Alright, that's eno-" Boyfriend moved forward to do something, but Pico interrupted.

"LET HER GO YOU SON OF A *****!" He screamed and charged at Senpai.

Both of you were too shocked to do anything. Pico tackled Senpai to the ground, affectively pulling him off you. You, Boyfriend, and Girlfriend all watched as Pico punched Senpai over and over as he tried to fight back. The way he defended you like that made you blush. That's pretty hot... You thought to yourself. Boyfriend stepped in when Senpai began to bleed from the nose.

"Hey, uh, guys? Maybe let's settle this differently? We're gonna get arrested-" He started.

"He's right! Rap battle me instead! Winner gets the girl." Senpai yelled.

"Says who?" Pico scoffed as he punched him again. "She gets to decide for herself who she likes. And I guarantee it's not you."

"You're just scared she'll be entranced by my wonderful voice!" Senpai taunted.

"Ha! I could beat you any day." Pico replied. He hesitantly let Senpai get up but kept a close eye on him.

"I'd like to see you try, carrothead. Y/N, just keep those gorgeous eyes of yours on me." Senpai flirted and tried to get closer again.

Pico rested his hand on something inside his pocket. He ever so slightly pulled out a gun, just enough to where Senpai could see it. He got the message and backed off.

"Are you guys ready?" Girlfriend asked as the two took their places.

You sat next to her on top of the boombox. Boyfriend took the other side. Pico nodded and Senpai gave a smug thumbs up.

"3, 2, 1, Go!" She counted.

In a rush, Pico immediately began to sign. Senpai followed up, a bit more relaxed. You glanced over at Girlfriend to see her sharing popcorn with Boyfriend. You gave her a look that said are you serious right now and she just shrugged.

You knew that if Senpai won, Pico would just shoot him. But that worried you. You didn't want to witness a murder, even if the guy was a dirt bag.

As time went on, Senpai began to look less smug. Girlfriend and Boyfriend both were giving more points to Pico. When the song ended, Senpai started yelling something about biased voting.

"Let's have Y/N decide who wins. Y/N, who's rapping did you like better?" He stared into your eyes with an unreadable expression.

"I think Pico won that. He was doing a lot better than you." You told him.

"Yeah! That's what I'm talking about!" Pico yelled as Boyfriend and Girlfriend started booing Senpai.

Infuriated, the anime boy turned and stormed off. He looked at the group one last time before he vanished.

"I don't want a girl that hangs around with riff raff anyway." He snarled. And then he was gone, walking off into the night.

"Yeah! Go Pico!" You cheered.

He gave you a warm smile, something you haven't seen him do that often. It made your heart melt. Caught up in the moment, he pulled you towards him and pressed his lips against yours. You froze, completely taken off guard. He realized what he did and pulled back.

"Uh, my bad. I should have asked first. That really doesn't make me any better than that other gu-" He started, but you cut him off by kissing him again.

This time, he was the one surprised. However he quickly recovered and kissed you back, wrapping his arms around your waist and holding you close. The way his lips felt on yours was like magic. He seemed to put all of his passion into it.

Girlfriend handed Boyfriend more popcorn. As you and Pico separated, you were greeted with the other two's smirks.

"What." Pico deadpanned.

"Welcome back to Earth." Boyfriend chuckled.

"It wasn't hard to tell you liked each other." Girlfriend added.

"Whatever." Pico said, blushing slightly and averting their eyes. You just laughed, happy to have someone like Pico in your life.
