NaNoWriMo Part 3
In about 11 minutes we would get to the restaurant. We went past shops with shops with Mishi themed merch. Shirts, aprons, pants, flag, toys and more.
"Aya, watcha favorite color?" Mishi grinned with delight. I looked down my outfit. Literally just light blue.
"Light blue, blind man." I snarled. He nodded vigorously. I guess he can't take a hint. "Anyways why did you attack the kingdom anyways?" I turned my head towards the boy while walking on the dirt path. He thought long and hard then finally answered.
"Eh."
"EH! JUST EH?" I stopped and grinded my light blue slipper into the ground. Mishi stopped to see what I was doing.
"I really don't know." He loosens his shoulders and shrugged. I gave him a nasty glare and picked up the pace. After five minutes, we got to the miso place. Lawern, the one who ran the shop was packing up.
"Hey Lawern!" I waved at the old woman with a sweet, pleasant smile. She leaned back up to meet my eyes.
"Oh! Lady Aya! Why aren't you with the group?"
"This buffoon kept me behind." I cocked my thumb in Mishi's direction.
"Bu-bufoon?! I'm not stupid! I'm hot, smart, brave, handsome, cute, sweet, nice-"
"Ya da ya da. Anyways can you make us two bowls of miso soup. Your specialty please." Lawern nodded at my request and had me and Mishi sit on some fluffy pillows as we waited for our orders. A single red lamp dangled above the small table in the dim room.
"Hey."
"Hey Mishi."
"What's your favorite idea?" Mishi leaned over the table.
"What?"
"What's your favorite idea?" He repeated.
"What type of question is that?"
"My type of question of course!" He grinned leaning back to his seat.
"Um... I guess reading?" I shrugged.
"Cool I guess. Mine is playing sports with my dad! But since he's gone for the next five years I need a new hobby. So whatcha favorite book?" Mishi went on with his silly question for a whole half of a hour until I pressed my fingers to his lips.
"Why do you need this info." I glared. Mishi's carefree expression dropped.
"Well, uh..."
"You're trying to know my war stats! You snake!" I turned my fingers to a fist and the young annoying snake fell over. How did he trick me? How did I fall for a egotistical boy's trap? Also why isn't the soup here already?
"No. It is just uh..." He said while rubbing his red nose. I shot up from my seat and started to stomp towards the door. "Wait! I can explain! I'll tell you everything! I swear!" Mishi begged while reaching his right arm out to me from the floor.
"Everything?" I turned around.
"I guess..." Mishi sighed. I returned to my yellow pillow and listen to his words. "Well, you see..."
"Get straight to the point." My eyes narrowed. Mishi straightened himself up.
"What is your opinion on me?"
"My questions. Your answers."
"No please! Tell me!" Mishi was on the verge of a panic attack.
"Annoying."
"Ok!" Mishi grinned. He got down on one knee and said. "Will you date me?" He blushed. My palm collided into his cheek.
"NO! YOU'RE ANNOYING AND STUPID!" I screamed at him.
"BUT I THOUGHT YOU WERE A TSUNDERE!" He yelped back. Silence shot the air.
"W-w-why?" I murmured.
"W-well you got distracted by me and my charms during the battle and you helped me out so... Also you're pretty and your hair is pretty and your face is pretty and..."
"You saying you liked me at first sight. Just for my looks. Nothing else." I stood up and this time the annoying warlord didn't try to stop me. I stormed into the kitchen and overheard Lawerson and a lady at the counter.
"I know! The two would look so cute together!" The teen girl blushed.
"Yeah. Mishi needs someone to look over him like Aya. She's nice and responsible but gets angered by idiocy easily." Lawerson smiled.
"Oh well. But at least your grandson would like her!" I swear my heart stopped for a second. This is planned and Lawerson is Mishi's grandma?
"Oh! Aya! Nice to see you how are you and oh..." Lawerson analysed my expression for a bit.
"What... The actual frick." I clenched my fist but I hid it under my long dress. The girl and Lawreson stepped back. In my fist a rugged ice cube started to take life. I was ready to chuck the ice cube until a odd 'clang' sound happen behind me. Out of the paper sliding door came an alarmed Mishi.
"Hey... I assume I shouldn't be interrupting this..." He squawked and cowarded back inside. I rolled my eye at the boy and turned around. Lawerson and the girl were off running. I sighed, knowing it would be a waste of time chasing them.
