(I'm honestly obsessed with Hanahaki Disease oneshots, so I'm making my own!!)

Pairing: Drarry (Draco x Harry), from the Harry Potter series.
Type: Slight angst.
Time/AU/Setting: Eighth year. Everything is the same, besides the fact that Draco will have the Hanahaki Disease. Hogwarts.

~Draco's POV~

I woke up this morning to an aching feeling in my lungs. After I got ready I headed down to the Great Hall with Blaise and Pansy.

As I attempted to eat a green apple I started coughing violently. I started coughing up blood and soon a bloody rose petal was coughed out of me. By now the majority of the Great Hall was staring at me.

"Draco! Are you okay?!" Pansy asked me worriedly.

"N-no........" I said shakily.

"We should take you to Madame Pompfrey (Is that how you spell it???)." Blaise said, helping me stand up.

"T-thanks..." I said, trying to stop my shaking.

"It's no problem, Draco! You are our best friend! If you're dying, we're dying with you! It ain't no choice!" Pansy said, making me laugh at how she heard 'You are my best friend! If I'm dyin', you dyin' wit' me!' On her phone. After the war, Hogwarts started letting students have electronics.

After we arrived at the infirmary, Madame Pompfrey bombarded me with questions. I sat on a bed and let her ask me about it.

"Okay, so what's the problem?" She asked.

"During breakfast I coughed up a rose petal. My lungs also ache when I breathe." I told her and she had a look of extreme worry on her face.

"Are you...... in love with somebody..... who you think doesn't return you're love...?" She asked.

"........ y-yes.........." I finally answered, looking down. I started coughing again a sunflower came out this time.

"You seem to have....... the Hanahaki Disease......." She said. I gave her a confused look and she sighed as she looked away with a sympathetic look on her face.

"The Hanahaki Disease is a disease caused by one-sided love...... The Hanahaki Disease causes a person to cough petals and for flowers to grow in their lungs...... If the victim's love isn't reciprocated then it can be fatal..... The only way to stop the disease from killing the victim is either through surgery where you can't love when the flowers are removed or by the victim's love is reciprocated....." She said and I started shaking, fearing for my life.

"Draco, calm down. We can get through this." Blaise said, rubbing circles on my back as I started hyperventilating.

"We need to find....... him......" Pansy said, looking at me with a look that said that she knew how to help.

I nodded and she left to go get him. Blaise stayed back and helped me calm down, telling me that everything will be alright and that after this we'll go on a triple date: Blaise going with Neville (They're dating in this), Pansy going with Hermione, and me going with Harry. Blaise and Pansy are like siblings to me, they're always looking out for me and trying to keep me from getting my feelings hurt. They also always knew how to calm me down and make me feel better when I get an anxiety attack or start feeling really depressed.

~Harry's POV~

I was at breakfast taking to Hermione and Ron.

"Guys...... I'm worried about Draco....." I told them, looking at the doors worriedly.

"Harry, your gay is showing." Ron said. I pushed him on the arm lightly and finished my bacon and eggs.

"Whatever. What if it's serious? What if he dies?!" I asked, starting to rock back and forth anxiously.

"Harry, stop assuming the worst!" Hermione told me. She started rubbing circles into my back and I started calming down.

"POTTER!!!! DRACO NEEDS YOU SO GET YOUR ARSE INTO THE INFIRMARY AND HELP HIM!!!!!!" Pansy screamed, bursting through the door.

I ran with her to the infirmary, feeling more anxious as we got closer.

"It's okay, Draco. He wouldn't let you die. He's got his hero complex, remember? And he's always staring at you, so he's probably gonna help." I heard Blaise say from inside the infirmary.

"Got him!" Pansy said as we walked through the doors.

"Pott-" Draco started saying before erupting into a fit of coughs. After a few seconds of coughing, he coughed up a bloody blue petal and a bloody pink petal. A tear formed at the corner of my eye as I started feeling really worried.

"Are you okay?!" I asked, rushing to his side.

"... Y-yeah...." he said, looking down as his cheeks turned a soft pink.

"He has the Hanahaki Disease-" Blaise started explaining and a sob escaped my lips.

"I wish I could be the person to be able to save you!! I can't bear seeing you hurt, let alone in this state!! So...... who is it....?" I asked, trying to stop the tears that were flowing down my cheeks like waterfalls. He looked up at me and place his hand on my cheek, wiping my tears away.

"....... Y-you........." Draco said.

"I LOVE YOU TOO!!!!" I cried out, tackling him in a hug as I started feeling extremely happy.

"I heard everything. Mr. Malfoy, you should be fine by tomorrow. You're lucky it didn't get too bad, or else it could have lasted for a very long time before healing completely." Madame Pompfrey said as she walked into the room. Draco started rocking me back and forth, trying to get me to stop crying.

"Is everything okay?" Hermione asked as she walked through the doors of the infirmary, Ron following soon after. Hermione looked at me and Draco, smiling as Draco started whispering comforting words into my ear.

"It's okay. You're here. I'm here. We're here. And I love you. The only reason I'd be upset is because I couldn't notice that you obviously lived me back. Will you be my boyfriend?" He whispered and I looked up and nodded quickly before throwing my arms around his neck and and kissing him. He kissed me back and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Finally. Hey, Hermione, do you wanna accompany me on a triple date with these dorks?" Pansy asked Hemrione as me and Draco pulled away.

"Of course. Let me guess, Draco and Harry are going together and Blaise is going with our favorite plant child." Hermione said, making us chuckle at the nickname that we is for Neville.

"Of course!! Now, Blaise, go ask plant child on the triple date!" Pansy said, pushing Blaise out of the infirmary.

"I'm proud of you, mate. You finally have gotten with Draco, even you did get together soon after you find out he had the Hanahaki Disease." Ron said, smiling at me and my boyfriend as Draco intertwined our hands.

"Make sure to take care of him, Draco! He's a very fragile boi." Hermione said. I started blushing while Draco, Hermione, Ron, and Pansy laughed at the comment.

"Love you, Harry." Draco said, kissing my cheek.

"Love you as well, Dragon." I told him kissing him on the lips again.

Who knew that I'd get a boyfriend after finding out that my crush had the Hanahaki Disease?
