*sorry, I'm bad at the 's(s) for these things!*

I am sleeping on my rock in our den that is up kinda high, at least 4 or 5 feet off the ground, when I heard my little brothers-Lyle and Connor-calling up to me. My wolf ears twitch as I wake up slowly. I readjust the sparkling silver tiara on my head as I look down at them sleepily, and they look back up smiling. I smile back.

"What's up guys?" I ask them kindly, sitting up on my 'bed' with my legs hanging over the edge. My tail wags slightly.

"We wanted to know if you wanted to play with us outside along with Vayla and Dron since Mom and Dad are having a pack meeting right now?" Lyle questioned, him and Connor both making puppy dog eyes. I giggle at them and hop down, crouching so I don't hurt my ankles, then stand up straight. Their tails start wagging in excitement.

"Sure thing! I can't leave you all alone, now can I?" I ask back teasingly and playfully. They pout playfully.

"Heyyyy!~ We can be by ourselves too, sis!" Connor whines playfully, and I shake my head, doubling over with laughter.

"Oh, really? Last time you all were alone you had gotten into trouble from eating almost all of the meat the hunters had killed for the entire pack!" I exclaimed, laughing harder. They laugh too, and I can hear Vayla and Dron laughing too.

"Okay okay, yeah, but that was one time!" Lyle exclaimed.

"Yeah? Well whatever, now let's go, you goofs." I state playfully, ruffling their fur.

They follow me towards Dron and Vayla. Once we head out, I take them into the woods in a clearing by a waterfall where we usually go to play. And it was right by the den, handy!

We get there, and they start playing immediately. I giggle at this.

My age is 16, Dron is 14 with Vayla coming close on 13, and that leaves Connor and Lyle as the youngest being 10. And they still act like puppies. Hahaha! **in this, wolves are aged as humans**

Anyways, since I'm the oldest here, I am quite protective over them all. Especially since there are four of them and only one of me. I only really have problems with the Ice King since he thinks I'm a princess. Which I am, but I was only just told about it after the first attack from him. My parents thought it would be best to tell me then since I was confused and old enough. I can understand that they didn't want me to hold all of the responsibilities of being the Wolf Princess. And I've always wondered why I'm the only one who can turn both human and into a wolf! I guess now I know!

But why me? I mean, I'm not complaining, it's just that there are plenty of other wolves who are more worthy of being crowned Prince or Princess of Wolves.

And my parents said that once I marry someone, they will be the Prince of Wolves, or if they are already a prince, then the King of Wolves and whatever other place they rule, with me being the Wolf Queen and the Queen of his place. It's weird and complicated, but whatever.

Okay okay, off topic. My siblings played tag while I just watched since I am faster than them and I like to mostly keep watch over them in case Ice King or someone else attacks.

After 20 minutes of playing, I hear a rustleing noise in the bushes, my siblings do too. I stand up and get into my fighting stance. I can take almost anything down with just my bare hands since I need these skills to protect my pack.

"Guys..behind me, now." I order, and they do as told.

"Right, so if anything happens, you do what?" I ask them, making sure they remember.

"Go get help." They all respond, scared and worried.

"Exactly. Dron and Vayla, what do you do if danger comes to you all while I'm gone?"

"Protect the youngest of us all: Lyle and Connor."

"Yes. Then what do you two do, Lyle and Connor?"

"Go get you or someone nearby to help."

"Precisely. Now stay behind me, and if something-or someone-attacks, go back home and if I don't come home in around 10 to 20 minutes, get help." I explain seriously to them, and they nod, whimpering.

I step towards the bush and shout, "Come out! I know you're there!"

Something-or rather, someone-comes charging out and attacks me. I yell back to my siblings, "RUN!"

They do so reluctantly as I look back to my attacker. It's...

"Ice King.." I growl at him, and he snickers happily.

"Hehehe! Yes! It is me! Now, YOU'RE COMING WITH ME PRINCESS!" He exclaims, and I break my wrists free of his icey grasp.

I look at my wrists quickly, and see that there is frost on them. I shake it off of me and look back up at Ice King, I glare at him.

"No. I'm. NOT!" I yell back, dropping a high kick to his face. He falls back and I get back into fighting stance as he gets up, his nose bleeding from the force of my kick.

"Now now, Princess. Just cooperate with me.." Ice King says evilly and rushes back at me.

However, before he could get to me, a boy that had a white bear looking hat, a teal short sleeved shirt, dark blue shorts, black shoes and a green backpack came dropping in from the sky and kicked the Ice King to the ground. I had to hold in my laughter. This is what he looks like:

He got off of the Ice King and exclaimed, "TAKE THAT ICE KING!"

He then came by my side and said, "Want some help there?"

I giggled at how calm he acted after what he had just done, then said with a smile, getting back into position, "Yeah, that would be nice. Thanks."

He then gets into the same position while pulling out a golden sword and saying, "It's my pleasure."

A magical dog then comes out and also gets into position and states, "I've got your backs."

The boy and I both say, "Thanks!" to him and he nods. Here's what he looks like:

I then state, "Let's do this."

They smile and nod determinedly, "Yeah!"

I then charge forward unexpectedly and punch the Ice King in the face after he stands up. Then I twirl out of the way and the boy hits the Ice King with his fist too. Then he jumps beside me and the dog stretches over to him and kicks him. I walk up to the Ice King and high kick him again, this time on his left side, and do back hand springs away as the dog hits him one more time, then the boy hits the Ice King with the back of his sword to knock him out.

I stopped doing back hand springs after the dog had hit the Ice King. So I just watched the boy hit him and knock him out afterwards. We all smile in victory and they try to catch their breaths. They look at me in shock and confusion.

"Hey..*pants* h-how are you..*pants* not t-tired..?*pants*" The dog asked me, and the boy nods, catching his breath.

"Well," I motion towards my wolf ears and tail, plus the crown and say, "I am the Princess of Wolves so I have to have great stamina to protect my pack, now don't I?"

They make an ohhhhh face and nod in understanding.

"True. Anyways, nice to meet you princess! My name is Finn and this is Jake! And you are?" Finn asked me nicely, and I blushed at him calling me princess, he did too.

"Ah, nice to meet you both too! My name is Lexis Amarilla. Oh! Shoot! I've gotta go! You guys can come if you want?" I question them in a hurry, they realize my rush and just nod for an answer.

I then run over to them, gently grab their wrists after Finn had put his sword away, and said, "Hold on tight."

They did and I ran, using my super speed, back to my den to find Dron, Vayla, Connor and Lyle sitting there, looking very worried. I let go of Finn and Jake, they try to gain their balance as I walk up to my siblings. They look up in surprise after hearing my voice.

"Hey! Miss me?" I asked them teasingly, and their eyes widened as they looked up at me.

Their tails wagged quickly as they jumped onto me, knocking me to the ground as they attack me with kisses. I am laughing really hard, and I can tell Finn and Jake are smiling at us.

"LEXIS!~ YOU'RE OKAY!!" They all screamed in relief and excitement as they hop off of me. I sit up, still laughing.

"Duh, why wouldn't I be? Plus, I did have some help." I state kindly, motioning back towards Finn and Jake.

I then motion them to come forward after they had waved at them. They came up to us as I stood up and set my right arm gently on Finn's shoulder, like someone who was best friends with another one would do. We both blushed. Jake was on my other side and I had my hand on his shoulder.

"Brothers, sister, this is Finn," I motion towards Finn, "and this is Jake!" I then motion towards Jake.

Their tails wag even more at the new people. Dron came forward.

"Hello! Thank you both for helping our sister! Anyways, my name is Dron! The second eldest." Dron stayed kindly, then Vayla stepped forward.

"Yes, thank you! And my name is Vayla! The third oldest here!" Vayla said happily, then Connor stepped up.

"Thank you very much! My name is Connor! Twin of Lyle and the fourth oldest!" Connor stated happily and proudly as Lyle stepped up as well.

"Thanks! I'm Lyle, Connor's twin and the youngest!" Lyle said nicely, and excitedly.

"Nice to meet you all too! And it was not a problem!" Finn says kindly.

"True! Anyways, who's the first oldest again?" Jake asked, clearly wanting to hear the cute answer from them (their voices are cute).

"Lexis!" They all exclaimed excitedly at the same time. We all laughed.

"Wanna hear some things about her?!" Vayla asked super excitedly, Finn and Jake nodded.

My siblings looked to me for approval, and I nodded, giving it to them.

"Cool! Well, first of all, Lexis is very protective of us and the pack with her being the oldest of us siblings and her being the Princess of Wolves and all!" Vayla explained.

"Yeah! And she is 16 years old with me being 14, Vayla being 13, and Connor and Lyle being 10!" Dron stated happily.

"Lexis's bed is all the way up high on that rock ledge so that she can watch over her family-aka us-easily! And also because she likes heights!" Connor said, his tail wagging like everyone else's.

"And she has many hobbies! Such as practicing her fighting skills, singing, dancing, and many other things! She still even makes time for her family and her pack!" Lyle says excitedly.

Then all of my siblings exclaim in unison, "AND SHE IS THE BEST OLDER SISTER WE COULD EVER ASK FOR!~"

These words made me tear up in happiness.

"Awww! Thanks you guys! I couldn't ask for better siblings!" I say back, trying to calm myself down.

Their tails wag even faster as they hear that and say, "Thank you!!"

Finn and Jake are both smiling at our sibling love.

Finn's POV

"I've been meaning to ask her for weeks now..she means everything to me! What should I do, Jake?" I ramble on to Jake, and he laughs.

"Woah, woah! Chill Finn! I'm sure she will say yes if you just ask her!" Jake tries to reassure me.

"But what if she says no?! That will ruin our friendship forever!" I exclaim exasperatedly.

"I'm sorry..I just don't want to lose her, Jake.." I apologize to him, and he shakes his head in understanding.

"It's alright, Finn. I understand how you're feeling. I felt the same way before asking Lady Rainicorn out, remember?" Jake asked and I nodded.

"Yeah.." I trail off.

"And she said yes. Trust me, Lexis has the hots for you, dude! I can tell! The way she blushes when you compliment her, or even just stand next to her! The way she laughs at all of your jokes, even if they don't make sense! Everything! Why would she have any reason to say no?" Jake gives me a pep-talk, and I get the courage to do it!

"You're right! I can do this!" I exclaim, fist pumping the air.

"Yeah! You can do it! Now go get 'er tiger!" Jake exclaims, picking me up and stretching me to Lexis' family's den.

I stand tall and thank Jake before entering her den. She told Jake and I that we could at any time.

"Lexis? You here?" I call, and I hear shuffling from where she usually sleeps.

"Is that you, Lexis?" I call up there, getting slightly worried. Is that her?

Out pops a head out from above the rock, and I gasp. It wasn't her..

~With Lexis~

"Grrr, I swear when I get out of this, Ice King.." I growl under my breath and the Ice King gets everything prepared for our 'wedding.'

Pfft, yeah, sure. I'm totally going to marry him!

Note my sarcasm there..

"Ohhh!~ Darling, how about this one?!~" Ice King asks me excitedly, and I shudder. My face scrunching up in disgust.

"But that-that shows a lot of skin!! TOO MUCH skin!" I exclaim, and he nods.

"Alright! I'll find the PERFECT dress for you my dear! I'll be right back!" Ice King exclaims, skipping off to find a better dress that I may actually like. NOT.

"I'm so not marrying this bozo." I mutter under my breath, annoyed.

"Ugh, please come save me Finn..and fast..." I mumble to myself, sliding down the ice wall by the door of the prison cell I'm in, freezing.

I wrap my arms around myself, pulling my knees against my chest. I'm only wearing a gray tank top with a black bra underneath and black shorts with black underwear under that. Along with black combat boots.

If I'm going to marry someone, I want it to be Finn..

"I love you, Finn..please, come soon..." I mutter to myself as I hear the Ice King's evil and giddy laughter from the other room..

Finn's POV

The head that pops out was Gunters!

"GUNTER?! WHERE IS LEXIS?!" I exclaim, worried and shocked. I'm quite surprised that Lexis got kidnapped when she's always so alert..

"Quack!" Gunter drops a note to me, and I catch it as Jake rushes in.

"What's happening?!" He exclaims, I read the note aloud:

Dear Finn the human and Jake the dog,
You must know by now that Lexis has been kidnapped. By me, of course! If you don't come in precisely 2 hours-it's 6 am right now-Lexis will be married to me! Hehehe!
Now, she is in this cell, waiting for our wedding!~ And I left Gunter there to give you the note once you arrive. However, I will be somewhat nice and give you one more hour.
She is waiting for your arrival!

"Grrrr, ICE KING!! Jake! We need to get to the Ice King's castle NOW! It's already 8 am! We've only got one hour until Lexis is married to the Ice King officially! Hurry!" I exclaim hurriedly, and he nods, stretching big.

I hop on his back and we rush to the Ice King's kingdom.

I'm coming, Lexis..please stall for as long as you can..I-I love you..

...we will make it on time...

Lexis's POV

There is only one hour left, and the Ice King already settled on a dress for me..here's what it looks like:

I would totally wear that, if I was marrying Finn. And Finn alone. But now the Ice King has ruined that dress for me.

"Only thirty minutes left, my sweet! Ohhh, I can't wait to marry you! You're just so cute!" The Ice King coos, trying to pet my wolf ears. I quickly look up and bite his hand, hard.

He pulls his hand away, screaming in pain. I smirk.

"Owwww!~ Why did you bite me?!" He asked me, and I glared, dropping my smirk.

"Only very special people can touch my ears and tail, and you," I point at him, "are not one of them."

He gasped in horror.

"How dare you! Hmph, fine! You'll come around." He stated, pacing around, wanting the thirty minutes to be over so that Finn and Jake can't save me in time.

Please..Finn, I need you..I need you...

"Ice King." I state, knowing that time is almost up until our wedding. He looks at me and smiles.

"Yes, dear?"

"If I am to marry you, what about my pack? I have to take care of them, I can't leave them.." I explain, and he nods in understanding.

"Well, that's very touching, your words. Of course I would still let you see them and take care of them! You just can't leave me or cheat! You are free to do whatever else you like! Oh! Except for seeing Finn and Jake again too!" Ice King explains, and my eyes widen as I sharply turn my head towards him.

My vision is blurred by my tears.

"I-I can't see them, e-ever again?" I ask, looking away so he won't see me cry.

"Nope!" He exclaims, laughing.

I can't cry, I can't cry..don't show him your emotions. Only show Finn, Jake, and your pack those emotions..

As I am thinking these thoughts, a tear slips out of my eye and rolls down my left cheek without me noticing. (Her left side is facing the Ice King)

"Princess? A-Are you alright?!" Ice King asked me, worried and nervous. Scared even.

I wipe my tears away and state emotionlessly, "Yes. Now leave me alone."

His eyes widen and he just nods in response, expecting to hear some emotion from me.

A few minutes later, the doors bust open and in runs Finn and Jake! Yes!

The Ice King blocks my view, and I still show no emotion.

"Darling, stay in there, alright?" He asks me.

"Whatever. It's not like I can go anywhere. And don't call me Darling. I don't want to hear you calling me that ever. I would only allow the person I actually love to call me that." I say monotonously, and I could tell Finn and Jake's eyes were wide at how emotionless I sounded.

"Ugh, fine!" Ice King states carelessly and starts attacking the boys. I watch out of the corner of my eye.

They continue fighting, once the Ice King hits Finn, I lose it. I stand up and glare at the Ice King.

"Ice King." I state through gritted teeth, they stop their fight briefly to look at me.

My hands are curled into fists at my sides, but I quickly put them behind my back.

"Yes?~" He coos, my left eye twitches slightly at him cooing at me.

"I'll make a deal with you.." I trail off, he nods.

"What kind of deal?" He asks me, curious.

"If you let them go, I will marry you and do whatever you say. Just stop hurting them." I offer, and Finn and Jake's eyes widen.

"No! Lexis! It's not worth it!" Finn exclaims, eyes wide.

"We can take it, Lexis!" Jake tries, eyes wide too.

I give them a look saying I've got a plan, and they get the hint.

"What do you say, Ice King? Deal or no?" I ask, pretending to ignore Finn and Jake while they pretend to try and get me to stop.

"Hmmmm, alright! Deal!~" He exclaims, using his ice powers to keep Finn and Jake from moving.

"Fine, just let me out and we have a deal." I state, and he eagerly comes over to my cell and unlocks the door, letting me out.

He steps out of the way for me as I get out of the cell.

He closes the cell door and turns back towards me, smiling. I fake a smile and punch his face with my right hand, losing the fake smile. He falls to the floor as I walk over to Finn and Jake.

"O-Owww..what about our deal..?" He asks weakly, and I smirk, turning around to face him, stopping in my tracks.

"We never shook on it, so it means nothing. It's not my fault you're so gullible." I state, shrugging carelessly, turning around and kicking the ice that held Finn and Jake. It broke instantly.

Finn and Jake fell and I caught them, setting them back into their feet.

"Thanks, Lexis." Finn and Jake state happily, and I smile at them-genuinely.

"No problem. Let's get out of here, shall we?" I question them happily, and they smile back, nodding.

"Yeah." They state in unison.

We start to leave when someone grabbed my shoulder and pulled me back forcefully. I fell to the floor and Finn and Jake turned around, wide eyed. I wince, then look up to see who dragged me down.

It was the Ice King's Guard.

"Not so fast." He states (the Guard).

He grabs my wrist roughly and pulls me up, I groan slightly in pain, he still has his hold on my wrist. Finn definitely heard my groan since he looks infuriated..anyways, every time I try to free my wrist-which is every few seconds-his grip gets tighter. I stop struggling as I hear Finn's alarmed voice.

"Lexis! Stop struggling! He's hurting you!" Finn exclaimed, and I stopped immediately.

"Let her go!" Jake states angrily.

"No." The Guard states.

"Don't let her go!" The Ice King bellows.

"Let. Her. Go. Now." Finn says, filled with rage.

"Nope."

"Let..me..GO!" I exclaim, elbowing the Guard in the gut, making him let go of me.

I then face him head on. He recomposes himself and tries to attack me, but I block his hit and punch him instead. He stumbles backwards.

The Ice King freezes Finn and Jake to their spots as he sees them trying to help me. They groan in aggravation, trying to free themselves to help me.

The guard punches my face when I'm off guard, and his armor scratches my left cheek, making it bleed and me fall to the floor, whimpering slightly.

When Finn hears this, his head shoots up and his eyes focus on me. He sees that I'm bleeding and his eyes widen.

The Guard comes at me again and I roll out of the way and dodge his downward strike. I stand quickly and high kick the Guard, he grabs my leg and throws me against the cell bars, nearby where the Ice King is.

"Hey! Don't kill my bride! Just hurt her for trying to leave!" The Ice King exclaims, the Guard nods.

I can tell that Finn is almost out of the ice that was holding him. He was breaking free from rage of them hurting me, I could tell. I need to buy him more time..

The guard tries to punch me, but I grab his fist. He grabs my own wrist and flings me towards the open window, I hit the walls of either side and fall out the window, my hand holding onto the wall to keep me from actually falling to my death. I gasp in fright and I could hear everyone but the guard inside gasp.

I reach my other hand up and grab the ledge, trying not to lose my grip.

I could hear the Ice King shouting scolds at the Guard and Finn and Jake trying to hurry up and break free of the ice to save me before I fall.

I start to lose my hold on the ledge and began to slip. My eyes widened as I try to keep my grip. I'm at my fingertips and am about to fall.

Once my fingers lose their grip, a hand grips my wrist tightly with both hands. I gasp as I dangle, my life in the hands of whoever is keeping me up. I look up in surprise at the person who caught me.

It was Finn.

"Give me your other hand, Lexis!" Finn exclaims, and I reach my other hand up to him, and he grabs my hand.

He begins pulling me up, and I could tell Jake was almost out of the ice holding him down too.

As Finn pulled me to the top, he pulled me into a huge hug, walking us away from the window. I hug him back.

"I've never been so happy to see you in my entire life.." I mumble to him, and he chuckles. I giggle.

"Me too.." Finn trails off.

As I look behind him, I could see that the Ice King and his guard were gone. They probably ran away, the cowards. I was hanging on for dear life on the window and what do they do?! They run away and possibly let me die. Rude..

And Jake had gotten out of the ice and is letting us have our moment. I mouth a thank you to him for that, and he mouths a you're welcome back.

I bury my face into Finn's shoulder and sigh in relief.

"By the way, what is your reason that you're so happy to see me in your entire life right now, since mine is you saving me from near death?" I ask him quietly, and we both laugh slightly at the last part I said.

"Well," he pulls away and looks me in the eyes, I can tell Jake left the room for us, "my reason is since I was the one who saved you, but that's not my only reason.."

"Then what is your other reason..?" I question softly, blushing. He blushed too and smiles at me, I smile back.

"My other reason was so that I could tell you something very important.." He trails off again, waiting to see if I want him to continue.

"Go on.." I urge gently, and he nods.

"I wanted to tell you this for weeks now, but, *breathes deeply* I-I love you, Lexis.." he says quietly, looking away shyly, blushing madly.

My eyes widen but soften quickly, my blush got redder as I heard this and lifted his head up with my left hand gently. We look into each other's eyes.

"If you're worrying, you've got nothing to fear." I state, and he looks at me confused.

"Why's that?" He asks.

"Because I love you too, Finn..I have ever since a few weeks ago." I explain, and we both smile bigger.

"Really?" He questions, excited.

I giggle and nod, "Yes, really Finn."

He smiles bigger and pulls me into a sweet, soft but tender kiss. And of course I kiss him back!

Once we pull apart for air, we lean our foreheads against each other's, smiling and giggling/chuckling like idiots.

"Will you be my girlfriend, Lexis?" Finn asks me, and I smile wider.

"Of course, Finn. If you'll be my boyfriend." I state, and he chuckles softly.

"Of course." He says, kissing me again.

"I love you, Lexis.." Finn said, leaning his head against mine again.

"I love you too, Finn.." I say, kissing his nose lightly.

"Now, what do you say we go get Jake and head out, huh?" I ask, and he agrees.

We head back to Jake who was waiting outside the door.

"So, you're dating now?~ Hmmm?~" He teases, Finn and I playfully hit him.

"Shut up!~ And yes." We say in unison, then we all laugh.

I then hug Jake, he hugs back.

"Glad you're okay, Lexis." Jake states kindly.

"Same with you and Finn." I say back as we break the hug and leave, Finn and I hand-in-hand as we go.

Finn said on the way home that he was going to help me tend to my wounds, so I agreed because I knew he wouldn't drop it until I let him. 💕

I remember back to what Finn and I had said and done just moments before, my tail wagging happily..

"I love you, Lexis.." Finn said, leaning his head against mine again.

"I love you too, Finn.." I say, kissing his nose lightly.

From then on, I knew that we would Battle Together forever. ❤️❤️
