lucy was not sick of her magic she just wants  magic that can actually hurt someone her self like natsu with fire he can burn the people he hit or anything around it. grays ice make he can make anything a weapon with is ice. erza can summon armor and weapons. they can all hurt people with she can summon people of sorts don't get her wrong she loves her spirits in all but he just does not want to be dependent on tell all the time and she does not want a magic that someone already has she wants something different from the guild but what she kept on thinking on what magic she could have she did not want  archive magic because that took a lot of time to master until she ran into someone and fell on her butt. she looked up but had to look down because of the sunset that was in her eyes and she said "sorry i was not paying attention" she got up and the man helped her she felt a little cautious then the man said "nah it's fine luce" she looked at him and saw natsu she blushed and said "sorry again natsu" "luce i said it was fine it was an accident and just make sure you watch were your going we don't want to see the chapter what happened come true right" she nodded her head and shuddered and nodded to him and he helped her up and started to walk to random places talking about random things until she brought up the magic. Natsu looked at her and said "Lucy you don't need another magic you fine just the way you are-" "NO Natsu you don't understand I just summon people to help me fight when I can't even do that so I wanted to learn another magic so I can fight while hurting them more then I can now" natsu sighed "well i dont know what magic your going to find when everyone in the guild almost has all the magic so your not going to find some thing special but that magic that i think would go with you is fire and i am not just saying that because its what i have but because of your personality and the person with the personality like fire would learn it faster then a normal human and you will have me as a trainer and you can mix you magic you have now with the fire and your star dress forms" natsu finished and i looked at him shocked and said " this is the kindest thing you ever said to me" he blushed and said "lets get going" she nodded and they went to a place that natsu only knew of the cave which he grew up in.  lucy looked at the cave and she gasped at its size and beauty from the inside it had jewels all over it in some places and the color was red like fire and she said "is this where you grew up in with igneel" she questioned and natsu turned to her and nodded with a sad face "yeah been here ever since he left me and that brought me to the guild" lucy hugged him from behind and said "its okay for you to cry i know no i can tell that you have not let out the pain from the past sure you cry on your own but you did not have someone there with you" he laughed  a bit and said "you know me so well" he turned around and hugged her and cried on her shoulder and she sat them both down on the floor and she some put his in her lap and rocked him until he felt better and he smiled at her and got up and said "lets get to training it may be different because i am a dragon slayer but i may be able to teach you dragon slaying if you want."  lucy nodded and they got started. 

6 hours later 

after 6 hours of training lucy got it down. she still needs training but she got the basics down but her roar still needs some work she can use it. natsu smiled at her and she smiled back her appearance changed her hair had red pinkish streaks at the bottom of her hair and her pupils went sharp and her senses increased. she smiled again and jumped and hugged him and then said "let's go to the guild" he nodded and they left the cave and went to the guild. when they got to the guild and opened the door and everyone looked at them and someone said "who is the girl" natsu looked at her and saw that she was different and laughed "come on guys i now she looked different but who dose she look like think of a blonde"  he finished and they thought of the blond and said "nope i dont see lucy in her" lucy sighed "its fine natsu i knew this was going to happen" everyone looked wide eyed and said "lucy?!" she looked at them and they shivered by her eyes they look more dangerous then her other eyes "yep" she said everyone had a shocked face and she smirked "don't underestimate me" they shook there head no and she smiled then gray said "flame brain fight me" natsu and lucy said "what you say ice cap"!!  everyone looked at shocked and natsu and lucy laughed and she said "i learned fire magic but still have my spirits"  "lets celebrate!!!"  everyone cheered and someone said "who taught you"  she smiled and said "well he was really patient and he taught very well he understood why i did this and no mean comments when i tell you cause if you do i'll burn ya' to ashes got it" she growled and everyone nodded and she said "natsu taught me fire magic" everyone started to laugh a bit and then fire engulfed her and they shut up.  and she smiled and they went on their way of a new relationship and new magic.
