dear mom, 

   today is my birthday i know you know but i really do miss you and hope that you can say happy birthday to me in person but that is only a wish but everyone is doing good in the guild no one knows about my birthday which i am not sure if i should tell them because it brings bad memories which you already know about so please shoe me a sign that you want the guild to know about my birthday well i hope that everything goes well today i will wright back at the end of the day

she put the letter in the envelope or so she thought and got dressed and went to the guild what she did not know was that someone was going into her house through the window to show her a job that could pay her rent but when he got through she was not there he looked at happy and said "did she already leave" happy shrugged and then they both went inside and natsu saw the letter and started to read it and gasped "happy look her letter says its her birthday its luce's birthday and she never told us lets go to the guild before she dose and tell the whole guild okay" "aye sir"  happy yelled and happy picked him up and used max speed to go to the guild they burst through the door and natsu said "listen up AND i mean it today i lucy birthday and i want a surprise party for her tonight at 7;00 sharp and mira i want you to plan it and i will take her out so she will stay away and i want it to be great for her because she had a hard time with her other birthdays okay"!! he yelled and everyone looked at him shocked then he continued and the said "we are her family now so its has to be perfect i will be back with her okay"  they nodded and natsu told happy to stay and help then he went out of the guild to lucy and everyone in the guild started to set everything up and mira told everyone what to do. natsu was running down the stores to find lucy. when he couldn't find her he used his sense of hearing and smell then he heard "let go of me i said let go OPEN GATE OF-MMMMMHHPP" that was his que to run to her when he followed his senses he found her in a big ally way with two guys one in front one in back the one in the back was holding her mouth the other had a sadist smile and said "pretty pretty blond we are going to take care of you soo well" she gasped and shrieked at the same time and had tears in her eyes then natsu yelled "not if i can help it FIRE DRAGON'S IRON FIST AND FIRE DRAGON FANG" he used the fang to kick the man who was holding lucy and used the iron fist the punch the man and they were both knocked out and lucy fell on the floor with a face what had confusion,shock,and fear on her face natsu went up to her and grabbed her shoulders and said "luce are you alright" she looked at him with eyes that had to expression so he picked her up and ran to her house. when he got to her house he set lucy on the bed and then go a drink of strawberry milk for her when he got to her room he saw tears running down her face and he put the milk down and hugged her and said "luce your fine now they won't hurt you" she sniffled and hugged back and said "i was so weak i could not call any pf my spirits non get the man off of me" natsu shook his head no and said "no luce your not weak they were not playing fair one was in front then the man came from the back peoples blind spots so it was not your fault so lets get you cleaned up and lets spend the rest of the day together until 7;00 okay" she nodded and ask "why 7;00"  he laughed nervously and said "well the guild is having a party so i guess why not hang out just us until then because happy told me that he was going on a job with wendy and carla"  she nodded and got up and went to the bathroom and fix up her face and she got up and put on a small smile and said "i am ready" he looked at her and went to her bathroom and got lipstick and put it on her she looked at him shocked and said "why did you do that"  "well umm... you look pretty with it on well and also pretty when you don't wear it but i like it because its you" she blushed "thanks natsu for everything" she smiled and grabbed her hand and said "lets go spend the day together okay" she nodded and smiled a big smile and natsu and her spend the day eating shopping walking around and most of all talking like they never had before it was fun for lucy on her birthday she never had this much fun on her birthday. when it was 6;30 natsu brought her home so she get get ready for the party  natsu also got ready in her room she was done faster then they expected and lucy opened the door to a half naked natsu she blushed and he laughed an said "you should already be use to this luce"   then she remembered all the times had had his shirt off ans sighed and blushed again and natsu teased her about it. she put erzas hair in to shame he laughed again and said "we have 15 minutes left lets start walking or do you want be carried like a princess" she looked at him shocked and said "no thank you i can walk on my own" she walked right passed him and he said "sassy" and caught up with her. when they were walking they passed to ally way lucy had trouble in and she shuddered and tears prickled her eyes then looked at natsu which she finally noticed that he was taller then her then she said "thank you natsu for everything you have done for me" he looked down at he and smiled and said "you don't have to say thank you we are best friends that what i am supposed to do right" they both felt the pain in there hearts when he said that and she nodded and smiled and said "what is this party about" he thought about it and said "it a surprise mira never told us what it is so its like a surprise party for the guild" lucy nodded again and said "have you ever thought about having a relationship with someone" he looked at her shocked and thought for a couple of minutes and said "yeah when i was in my teens because i never felt love with someone before but lis she was the only one but after she died i got over her i thought it will come back but it did not because i loved someone else" she looked at him shocked and then looked down then natsu asked "have ever thought about having a relationship" lucy looked at him then thought to and said "bunch of times and still do because the one i love may not love me back but he loves someone else and who ever it is i will support him" natsu smiled at her a happy and a sad smile and said "i am glade that he has you as a friend and i am also glade that your my best friend luce" she looked at him and thought 'maybe just maybe i can do this '   "natsu can-" "look we are at the guild" she looked up and saw the guild they went in when the went init was dark lucy went behind natsu then everyone including natsu yelled "HAPPY BIRTH DAY LUCY/LUCE/LUCY-SAN/LUCY-NEE-CHAN"  she looked at everyone shocked and said "how when but-" erza went up to her and said "your welcome but you should say thank you to natsu he is the one how told us that today is your birthday" she looked around and smiled and said "thank you guys and weres natsu" gray came up and said "he left just a few minutes ago i don't know where though" she sighed and nodded 'i guess i have to wait and see when he is going to come back to the guild but why would he leave after he said happy birthday to me and how would he know that today is my birthday' she thought then went to hang out with the rest of the guild members. it has been 30 minutes its 7;30 and natsu is still not back so lucy snuck out of the guild to go search for natsu when she was walking she passed by the ally way again she ahd a feeling that she should look in it so she went in and saw

natsu covered in blood she gasped and yelled "NATSU"!! and ran to him she saw a hole in his chest and got his muffler and tried to stop the bleeding and she started to cry and say "i am sorry i am sorry natsu if only i came sooner this would not have happened if only i did not leave the letter on my desk i am sorry natsu i-i love you natsu if i only told you sooner if only i did a lot of things sooner this would-" she looked down and saw him smirking then the men from before came to her and she glared and said "OPEN GATE OF THE TWINS GEMINI" then another lucy poped up and copied her dress so they look alike and gem-lucy said "we have to find natsu lets split up" real lucy nodded and they ran out the the ally way and went into diffrenet directions and the men also split up and went to get both of the lucys. both of the lucys kept yelling natsu's name to find him when they could not find him real lucy turned around and said "LUCY KICK" and kicked the man in the face and got her whip and whiped him "STAR DRESS TARUSU LUCY PUNCH" and punched the man in the face and he was out cold and then gemini poped up and said "the men are already at the guild" "thanks gemini i got these guys you can go back"they nodded and went back to the spirit world and lucy picked up the men and started to walk to the guild. when she got to the guild she opened the doors and everyone went silent and she dropped the people and no one said a thing until someone said "lucy?" and she sighed "yes i am lucy this is something i learned but i am going home i had a ruff day" they nodded and she said "if natsu comes back tell him that i am at home and not wanting to be bothered" they nodded again and she walked out of the guild to go to her house.

at the guild

natu came inside and said "where is luce" "she just left and said that she did not want to be bothered i guess something happened" then gemini came and said "she was looking for you and went into an ally way she had a feeling then saw you on the floor all bloody she blamed her self and she admited her self to something then she saw a hole in you and that you were smirking and then the men came out then she called me and we split up i got 2 of them while she got the other 2 then she came here. we were looking for you yelling you name she was sad that we could not find you and she was crying looking for you until she used her star dress form and now she is at home doing what but i have to go" and they left and natsu looked shocked "on her birthday to" and started to run to her house when he got there he heard her crying he jumped through her window and got punched in the face and he fell on the floor. he sat up and hold his jaw and he looked at her and she looked at him "luce i am sorry tha-" "i had enough of the sorry's luce natsu" he looked down "luce i was out because i was getting your present it was custom made that's why it took so long" he got the present out of his pocket and it was a key "what kind of key is it" "it took a while but i asked loke to help me make a spirit key for you to see you mother" she looked at him and got the key "and i know you said no sorrys but gemini told me what happened and i am sorry i was not there to protect you lucy" he went out of the window she looked at the window and looked back at the key and said "OPEN GATE OF THE SPIRIT ETHOS" then a ghost came and said "that young man is right on what he said he went to the spirit king and asked if he could make a key for you so you can see you mother that man really loves you Ms.lucy but i need you mother name so i can call her" lucy nodded and said "layla heartifila died july 7,X777" ethos nodded and went to the spirit relem to ger her mother its been 5 minutes and he got her "layla heartifila i present you your daughter lucy heartifila"layla turned around and saw her daughter and hugged her "happy birthday lucy" lucy hugged back and said "i made a mistake" "yeah a big one and lucy when i tell you this i mean it he is the one he is your soul mate and you both love each other very much so please go to him and fix you mistake and also say sorry for punching the poor boy" lucy nodded and said "i will call you and papa on special occasions or when i need advice okay" layla nodded and left "thank you ethos" "No thank the boy" lucy nodded and went in to her capricorn star dress form (i dont know what is looks like because they never showed it in the manga but i guessing that is is in the movie dragon cry which they have not relesed yet on kissanime.ru but imagine)  and she used the speed to get to his house when she got to his house she knocked on the door it took a while for him to open the door but when he did she had her head down and it was night time and it was cold her outfit was short and reviling (that is the only thing i am doing) and natsu pulled her in and said "wow you look nice but what what are doing out here lucy" she looked at him and said "i never go to say sorry nor thank you for what you did to get me the key" he smiled sheepishly and said "its fine but i am sorry for not telling where i was going i just wanted it to be a surprise for you" she smiled and said "its alright natsu its my fault to but can i stay here its to cold" he nodded and went to his bed and said "i only have one bed i will sleep on the couch" "no natsu i am your guest i will sleep on the couch" "no luce its your birthday and you will sleep on the bed" "how about we both sleep on the bed its fair and if you do sleep on the bed you will go into the bed i am sleeping on" he laughed and he let go in then he went in. they had there back together which was uncomfortable so natsu turned around and hugged her in her sleep or what people call spooning not the nasty way but the loving way and said "love you luce good night" and kissed her head and fell asleep >///< was her face and she said "good night love you to" that was the craziest birthday/sad/angry/happy birthday that she ever experienced but she was happy in the end>
