Draco ate his meal quietly as he watched a person in the corner of his eyes.

She laughed at something Harry said. Harry. Another reason to hate him.

Draco liked Y/N since forever. They met from their family because they are pure bloods. But lately Y/N has been caught up by her crush. Harry Potter. That prick, at least to Draco he's a prick.

Draco stabbed his meal, harshly. Draco knows that Harry didn't like Y/N that way, which meant that he will probably break her heart, since Y/N was convinces that she still had a chance... Stupid Y/N, never less, he still liked her.

Her stupid witty remarks and her confident personality.

His heart throbbed when Y/N was blushing at something Harry said.

Draco got up, abruptly, and quickly left The Great Hall.

On his way out, he crashed into something.

Dumbledore.

"Sorry sir." Draco mumbled and tried to quickly leave but Dumbledore caught his arm and faced Draco.

His all-knowing eyes stared at Draco's steel grey ones.

"Honesty is the best policy." Was all he said and smiled at Draco and quickly left.

What the bloody hell?

Draco shook it off and left to a quiet location, to clear his mind that was jumbled up like his dorm room.

The Astronomy Tower.

On his way to the tower, his arm got caught again. Draco turned around, irritated, but stopped when he saw who it was.

"Hey." She said, her e/c eyes shining, "You stormed out of the Great Hall. What's up?"

"N-nothing."

Y/N frowned, "Seriously, what's wrong?" Y/N was seriously concerned for her best friend. "Draco, I care about you."

Draco's heart thumped a little faster,

"I want to know what's going on with my best friend."

His heart dropped to his toes.

"I'm going to the Astronomy Tower." Draco quick to said and made a dash to the tower.

"Wait! Draco!" Y/N shout behind him as he flew by 1st year students that were confused.

I care about you Draco, your my best friend.

Draco felt his heart slowly ready to collapse. He tried to get over his crush, but obviously it wasn't working. He huffed the cold air as he entered to tower, leaning against a rail, overlooking the lake.

Damn Draco, you got friend zoned...

Draco always thought he would never chase after a girl, girls always came to him because of his status and power. But when Y/N told him that she liked Harry in 2nd year, his crush revealed.

Draco laughed and took in a deep breathe and stared at the sunset. "Look where I am now..." He laughed at his humiliation and emotional breakdown.

Tears peeked out on the corner of his eyes. To make it even worse, his family has been recently housing the dark lord, on top of that, next year he had to find something... Things are getting worse by the minute and this was the breaking point for him.

I like you Y/N, why can't you see that I like you? Do you like me? Cause I have a lot of feelings for you.

Draco also thought that if Y/N dated Harry, she would spend less time with Draco since the two despise each other.

I just want to be by your side... I want you to be happy... That's right Draco, as long as Y/N is happy.

The tears rolled down his cheeks.

As long as Y/N is happy, I'll take all the pain.
