At first the dream started weird, like it usually did. I was viewing everything in third person and watched as courage the cowardly dog got back at Eustace by scaring him back. Like I said, weird dream. But somehow, there was no more courage. There was only a kid that seemed about 8 to 10 and Eustace again, though he was more silent and didn't seem all...there. By the end of the dream I forgot he was in that segment until I thought about it again when I woke up. The mother at first reminded me of Muriel, though somehow they got more money and she changed. She became money and power hungry. She didn't really interact with my character at first. My character was actually hiding from her at first. The boy I was seeing everything through didn't have a name, or at least it was never said aloud or I just don't remember. Though during one point in the dream he was eavesdropping on his mom. It looked like she was making an actual deal with the devil. She was looking through a portal and all that I saw was red and black and a large figure. I don't remember what he looked like but his voice was deep. Not a voice you could trust but one that would make you believe everything he said. He made an offer to the mother, infinite power and anything she could ever want. For the boy. She quickly agreed and shortly after she turned into a tall deformed monster that was partly flesh and partly ink. She reminded me of Ursula from the few clips I've scene of her. Once she saw me (or should I say the boy but I was basically playing as him now) she quickly came after me. Her mind wasn't there anymore, she was just working to get whatever her selfish heart desired. She chased me all throughout the house, killing Eustace in the process by absorbing him as she crawled passed. As she chased me I noticed that she said I finally had a use for her and that I made her life a living hell basically. I couldn't really see it, the kid was pretty quiet and seemed to stay out of her way whenever she was around. Or at least stayed extra quiet. As I was running I looked around at where I was. It seemed that I was in what looked like a hotel at first, though I think it was simply a two story house since I didn't hear anyone other than the monster. Even if there were people I couldn't call for help, I would get caught faster. After running in circles five times I hid behind a desk. She kept circling around still thinking she was chasing me. While she was doing that I noticed that there was a hidden space I could go into since no one went over to it because it was a corner with a bunch of junk behind a wall of boxes it would be a perfect hiding space. I just had to climb over a few boxes to get over the wall. I quickly made my decision and started climbing over the boxes once I heard her coming closer. She kept saying she would find me, everything is found sooner or later. After she said her threat I managed to climb over the last box and somehow make minimal noise while landing. I hid in a corner for a bit and once she walked away for a minute I hid in a box just incase she came back. Good thing I did, who knows what would've happened if I didn't cause she came back after I got situated, she checked my first ideal hiding spot before ruining a few more decent hiding spots before storming off in a fit of rage. It wasn't safe to stay any longer, she was already dangerous crazy. There's no need to wait around for anger to be added to it. So I did the only thing I could do, I snuck over to the window. Opened it completely once I heard her nearing back to my spot and leaped out. I ran as fast as I could and never looked back.

Before I woke up I saw an older version of the boy fighting with a few other people close to his age. They managed to distract him long enough for his 'mother' to come along. She was much larger than before, well above the clouds. It seemed that she got her own following and has been hunting her son since he first escape all those years ago.
