Ebony's P.O.V.

I was in the park playing with my dog Todd while Makayla & her brother Zane set up the picnic.Since we were given the day off,we decided to spend it outside than inside.I only agreed to go if Kai came & that I could bring Todd.I would every once in awhile look back to see if they were done.By the 3rd time I looked back,Kai was walking over to me.I quickly turned around & I ran after Todd.I couldnt really talk that well when Im around him cause I have a crush on him.The only one who knows I do is Makayla & see keeps teasing me about it.

"Hey Ebony,can I join you??"Kai yelled.

"S-sure."I said.I mentally face palmed cause I just stuttered like last time when I talked to him & that I said that he could join me.He then ran over to me only to be tackled by Todd.

"Good boy."Makayla & Lloyd said.I stared at them & laughed while Todd licked Kai's face over & over.

"Please get off me Todd."he said while Makayla ran over.She then pulled me away for a bit & I knew what would come from it.

"Tell him you like him!!!!"she said with a huge smile.

"No,what if he doesnt like me back??"I said.

"Please,just tell him.Do it for me,it is my birthday after all."She said.I sighed & looked at the ground.She was right & we all did say we would do whatever she says today.

"Fine,but you have to tell Lloyd you like him."I said.

"Alright."She said.She then dragged me over to where Kai,Lloyd & Todd were.Todd ran over to me while Makayla dragged Kai over.So while she did that,Lloyd walked over & I could tell he didnt want to be dragged over.

"Ok,what is this all about???"Kai asked her.

"Shhh,you shall see."she said with a very devious smile.She then placed him next to Lloyd & then she stood next to me while Todd sat in the middle of all of us.

"Ok,you first."I whispered to her while nudging her side.She nodded & grabbed Lloyd's hands causing him to turn a deep red.

"Lloyd,I love you."she said & he turned an ever bright red & had a really goofy smile.

"I love you too Minty."he said. & with that they hugged then held hands.

"Now your turn Ebony."she said to me.I took a deep breath & turned to Kai.

'I cant believe Im doing this'I thought to myself."K-kai."I shakily said.He stared at me & smiled.

'You dont have to say it.I know what you are going to say & I love you too."he said.

'How did he know...Makayla probably told him.'I thought.Then he pulled me closer to him & he kissed me.I smiled & kissed back happily.Then when we parted,I stared at Makayla & glared at her.

"I did not tell him.& if your wondering how I knew you were thinking that I told him,well I can use my magic to read minds.Just takes a lot of concentration."she said with a smile.

"Alright alright.Now your mine,right Kai."I said.'I did it!I can talk to him normally again!!!'I thought.After that,we walked over to Zane & we had our picnic.Then we had a mission so we had to go.Pretty great day though & I think it was a great Birthday for Makayla.
